V.I.P. Landscaping

The owner never followed up with an estimate after our visit. If you don't want the job it's OK just say it. I think these guys like to work hard. But business wise I get the impression they are not there yet. So If you like to take a risk these might be your guys. Slightly disappointed. You always wanna see the local guy win. But they did nothing to help themselves.

VIP is contracted by my condo management company to take care of the property. They failed to come out to salt / sand the stairs and walkways this morning. That was at 7:35 this morning at which time I slipped on the ice and landed on the stairs to the cars. After a call to our management company, VIP showed up at 10:00 this morning and put down about an inch of salt and finally did the walkways.

One of the neighbors gave him a hard time about how much salt he was putting down and the driver's response was "who cares". He then told both my neighbor and I to go back in the house. The driver stated that he had been here 7 times already and doesn't think that any one really fell. All I've got to say is, no problem monkey boy my attorney will be in touch.

I needed a lawn mowed twice while out of town for a month, and VIP Landscaping was recommended. I called well before we needed service. My calls went unreturned. I finally reached them just before we left town, and was told "we'll get you on the schedule and call you back later in the week." I did not receive a call back. I tried calling again the following week and they were closed for the holiday (for a full week).

No big deal; but my call was not returned the first day they were open again. I finally reached them 15 days after we first made contact, and was told "we weren't able to get you on the schedule after all." Apparently they didn't think it was necessary to call and tell me this. They may or may not do good work - I can't say, because their customer service was so poor that they didn't even bother to call to tell me that they couldn't do the work we had agreed upon.

Brett and his team are professional, friendly and do a fantastic job! My lawn looks amazing and the edging has never looked so good. Thank you!

The owner went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with the work and checked in a few times after it was done to make sure the grass and plants were coming in properly. The crew that came to do the work were very nice and polite and worked as hard as they could to get the job done as quickly as possible. Highly recomend for any big yard projects or even maintenance.

I've been using VIP for about 8 years now. He transformed my last property's grass from mediocre to a golf course. In addition, he has installed an amazing patio at my new house. Highly recommended for all size projects.

I recently parked my car on Russell St for appt. I was early so walked at park when I returned to my car an employee was leaf blowing in front of my car. Completely covered my car with debris, unfortunately I was late did not take picture. The leaves were not on anyone's property on public street. I called the company and Megan was very nice brought a car wash gift card.

However I pointed out that my car now has several paint chips. I followed up with phone calls never received return call. I would not trust this company's employees near my property they thought it was funny. Disregard stars mistakenly rated

We have been slammed with 2 bigs storms and we rely on VIP for snowplowing & shoveling. On the 1st storm I was disappointed that they plowed and carved up some of my lawn so I called them to complain. They explained why (very heavy snow) they showed concern and even more importantly, they did a stellar job on the most recent storm. You can tell the commitment of the folks you rely on when things don't go well, how they respond, and how the back up their promises. VIP treated me with VIP service which is why I give them 5 stars!

Unreliable, arrogant, pricey. Work with someone else if you want to be serviced like a customer.

Brett is a total professional, while also being warm and easy to communicate with. Since our initial contact, he has always been accessible and quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. He listens, assesses the situation and finds a realistic balance between the needs of the property and the client's financial ability.

I called V.I.P., along with several other companies, about a month ago for a quote on shrub removal and replanting as well as overall yard cleanup. The owner, Mr. Bartelson, came out rather quickly with great ideas and competitive pricing. He and his team completed the work the very next week. I purchased my home about 8 months ago and have worked with many companies while adding updates and improvements, and V.I.P. is the only company that has exceeded our expectations.

Even with the changes I made to the plans while the work was being done, Mr. B was accommodating and happy to help. His team was friendly and professional and certainly handled my indecisiveness, adjustments, and departure from original plan with grace and a SMILE. The work was being done while it was misting and ugly out and I was afraid of the mud pit the work would create, but the team cleaned up IMPECCABLY!

They simultaneously sprayed and blew off the driveway and walkways to keep the dirt down. I am so happy that we have found a company that we can depend on and afford. I would recommend V.I.P. to anyone and everyone! Thank you guys!

After 17 years, I finally found VIP, a lawn and snow removal service that I am completely satisfied with. VIP is affordable, reliable and professional. Although VIP's corporate slogan is one yard at a time it could also be we go the extra yard. We recommend VIP to the highest degree possible.

I turned to Brett Bartelson (V.I.P. Landscaping) last fall when my large yard started to look like an abandoned piece of property, .overgrown, becoming out of control and far too much for me to handle.

V.I.P. Landscaping has provided both fall and spring clean-ups at our home for three years. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the service, professionalism and the price that V.I.P. offers. Our yard has several tree that cover our yard with leaves every year and it was difficult for us to keep things clean.

Since VIP took over the landscaping for our condo complex, we have never had a lovelier lawn and gardens. Appropriate plantings were installed, the lawn is managed weekly, mulching and other large projects are completed on budget and on time.

I contacted this business in August for landscaping job at my home. The owner came out. Had great ideas, great price, great to deal with. Then plans changed and I had him come back for a second look as our plan had scaled back. He was still pleasant, great price, great ideas. It is now Nov. 17 and he has yet to show up for the job the despite several promise dates. Bottom line, DON'T BOTHER. Unless you have a HUGE job, he won't show up OR bother to tell you he has a minimum job size!
