It would be cliche to say that Carter Bender was born with a hammer in his hand, but it wouldn't be far from the truth. As the son of an independent residential and commercial contractor, Carter spent many summers on the job site watching the process and learning each division of construction and afternoons after school learning design, project management and estimating.In 2009, after years of working as a commercial project manager and a finish carpenter, Carter decided to branch out on his own. Carter built a pergola for me a few weeks ago that is over and beyond our expectations! He and his crew were extremely polite, punctual and the job site was always neat, clean, and safety was paramount. I live in an upscale neighborhood and my neighbors asked for his phone number. Carter emailed me daily on the daily accomplishments.

Bender Construction was contracted to install crown molding throughout our house and wainscoting in the dining room. Carter is very knowledgeable and qualified. The price he gave us was very reasonable compared to another estimate. The workmanship with the crown molding and wainscoting was excellent. Overall, we were very pleased with the quality of the work.

As project manager for a Toronto-based company, I recently contracted with Bender Construction for a job in Louisville, KY. The results were outstanding. Carter Bender was the most professional and highly qualified contractor my husband and I have ever worked with. We built our former home and worked with several top local contractors, Bender Construction far surpassed all of them. Not only does he stay on schedule and on budget, he also has a very creative eye and is able to visualize the home owners desires.
