Bathroom Vanities
Report
During the Victorian era, the bathroom vanity evolved into a work of art. Legs were ornately carved and sinks were elaborately decorated. Today, the vanity has begun to drift back to its original grandeur, serving as more than just a functional piece of furniture and more as a specifically chosen focal point for an otherwise ordinary room.

You can have that kitchen you've always dreamed about: the one with abundant counter space and a place to store all those gadgets (such as blenders, juicers, and pasta-makers you've never taken out of the box). Or perhaps you've dreamed about a kitchen that has a breakfast nook or an expansive island covered in a timeless granite countertop.

Are your current countertops dull, old, or ugly? Cover your countertops in a stone that can withstand the test of time by investing in the grace of granite, marble or quartz. Kitchen Countertops
Report
The countertops will be one of the most important visual elements of your kitchen, but they also need to have the right durability and strength to stand up to daily use. That means that selecting the right material for your kitchen countertops will be a decision of both design and function, which natural stone options can deliver.

Kent was really good to work with from the start, but he never got back to us on final pricing for a remnant. Spent a lot of time trying to get them to work on price slightly and got no where on that as well. If going to visit this store make sure your get a solid number when you are there and make sure everything you discussed is in black and white so there is no going back on the 1st quote you get.

Stone City is such a great company to work with! They were able to complete not just our counter renovation but were also able to remove a raised island and some extra walls we had. They also were able to do the backsplash. They made our entire kitchen remodel seamless and as stress free as can be at a very reasonable cost. Eddie and all of his crew were so friendly and truly went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with the outcome of the project. Truly thankful we went with Stone City for our project.

High attention to Detail! I was going to go through a big chain store, I happened to be picking up carpet in the area and I came across this place. They showed me options and gave me accurate pricing and timing. They were super clutch! Came in as promised and delivered on time. The staff is great and take excellent care of their clients! As long as you understand what they offer and what needs to be done, there isn't any reasons to go with someone else! The one we went with is Calacatta Laza

Please see previous post. Here we are a week later and still no resolution or call. I reached out on Sat June 26 and was told Babu was out of town returning on Thursday and she would call Wed to set up a time for him to come out on Thurs July1. No call no one showed. This is their customer service. Run don't walk as far from this company as possible.

We were excited when we found Stone City and how we were treated in the showroom. We decide to pay their higher cost because of the showroom treatment. April 2021 The installers made a huge mess and damaged so much sheetrock in the kitchen I had to hire another contactor to fix the walls ($350.00). I expected a few bumps and knew there would be a little paint touchup.
This install crew didn't cut the caulk line from the backsplash to the wall and just ripped the caulk out of the joint. By doing this they ripped the finished sheetrock down to the paper. I wrestled with SC for a month after the install they would send someone out who could re-texture the wall so they would leave. They sent another crew out a week later with a can of texture and they made it worst that before. Babu/Padma you should have more pride in your customer service.
I would suggest to any future customers don't get sucked in by the showroom treatment go somewhere else to spend your $6K. I forgot to also mention the seam at the sink is already cracking out after two months.

MESSY, NO COMMUNICATION AND TOO MUCH EFFORT ON CUSTOMER'S PART. The service was terrible and the work is just ok, they don't pay attention to fine detail nor do they care. I hired this company to do a Kitchen Refresh. The process started in Feb/Mar 2021 and here we are almost half way thru May and things still aren't done. They would be done had they done things right the first time.
Numerous times there had to be touch-ups and re-do's because install and other things were done WRONG the first time around. The lack of communication in all aspects of this project have been painful, there is none. The day they refreshed the cabinets, they were at our house from 8a-8p w/o any word of how long they'd be there, we didn't plan to not have kitchen to cook in b/c nobody told us they'd be there that late, we were told it'd take 2 days, not 1 long one.
If you want to do all the communicating, scheduling and follow-up.then this is your place. Not only do the owners and hired contractors not communicate: about being late, not showing up or details of each stage, they also are messy. Most recently there was paint work that needed to be redone and they used our spare bathroom to rinse brushes or something; paint all over the floor, counter top, toilet and decor w/o effort to clean up as well as a clogged sink.
Each time work has been done there is saw dust all over, including our car in the garage which was used to cut stuff. The lack of considering for peoples time and things is unreal. On top of all of that, we ordered extra hardware for our pantry door and they installed the wrong color. To this day, I am still waiting on a call back from Babu for more fixes including chips in our brand new quartz counter top! I will never use nor recommend this company again; I have begged that the numerous touch-ups get done so I can move on and not have to keep following up.

Overall, a very POSITIVE experience with Stone City. We were looking for new countertops, and Manuel did a great job of quoting and showing us options. They have a lot to choose from. We opted for granite, and are pleased with the stone and quality. Stone City was quick to get them installed (within two weeks). There was a little lag-time when they ran into an issue with how it would fit between the sink and window.
It required an extra piece of granite to build a sill, and it took a while for them to get it installed after the initial installation. Small thing, but again, overall they were very professional and the installers were top-notch. I recommend Stone City. You'll be impressed.

Had a decent selection of quartz remnants. For us we will need to do more research as the price was not reduced for a remnant. Admittedly though I was looking for a bargain and was not able to find one. They are in high demand and that also makes a difference, not digging at their business, it's basic economics.

I found Stone City by driving by. Right of i225 and Mississippi. I'm glad I did! The place feels like home when you walk inside, and you're treated as a guest immediately. Their selection is magnification, their craftsmanship is quality, and the service is spectacular! I measured for 3 bathroom counter tops and Babu and his crew hit the dimensions.
The stone is beautiful, I almost count not decide what stone to choose. The under mount sink fit great, and the install groves they cut into the stone put added confidence that my sinks will stay put when used correctly. I was impressed by the selection and pricing. The stone is really something else. I cannot wait to have Babu and his crew do my kitchen next! Thanks a lot Stone City!

I had a rush job to find the stone we needed for a fireplace remodel. At first we just stopped in with a question, and with the helpful info that Stone City provided we were on the phone the next day ordering our stone. Brian and Joe were very helpful and responsive by e-mail, and managed to track down just what I needed. They also went the extra mile to quality check the stone so that there were no broken pieces when the stone arrived.
We have had a few headaches in our remodel job, but the Stone City crew came through for us above and beyond anything we were expecting. Thanks for being so helpful and accountable!

We began out kitchen remodel two months ago and needed fabricator for our existing granite. Initially stone city said they would only fabricate their material but a few days later they said they would handle the task. After we delivered our slabs to them we were told that they would give us a discount on the shortage. We knew we provided more than enough material, and after we called them out they pulled back on the attempted up-sell.
They to make matters more aggravating, they cut their own slabs rather than what we provided. They stated "we wouldn't be charged any extra" Once the install was scheduled we asked if there was anything we needed to do to prepare. They said just have things out of the way. The cloud of granite dust overwhelmed our entire house. I would have been nice to know in advance the amount of dust would be generated.
We would have tented off the kitchen. They damaged our newly taped, mudded, and painted wall., misaligned the under-mount sink, cut a chunk out of our new cabinet spacer, and left layers of dust behind. After verbal complaints to the sales rep, the owner called. He stated that damage is part of the job and he could not know if dust would be an issue for individual customers.
I told him that they should let people know so they could prepare if they wanted to. He would even consider the suggestion! If you are looking for craftsmanship and people that will be responsible for mishaps, DO NOT HIRE STONE CITY!

3 months ago we decided to remodel our kitchen, since we are not even half a block away from stone City we decided to try them. After 2No show appointments we called and complain, they promised they are going to send someone. 2 days later a gentleman should up, after explaining everything to him he replied that he is not a cabinet installer and he is counter top installation person and he didn't know why would they send him since we don't have cabinets installed or ordered.
After 15 minuets talking to him he promised that he is going to send someone to take the measurement for new cabinets. No one should up or called. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH TEAM!

Horrible customer service. Had issues with cabinets and countertops. The owner pushed blame on to me until I proved the issue was caused by his employee. He finally agreed to order replacement materials and said he would take care of it. After waiting weeks and never being called back I finally went and picked up materials and hired a finish carpenter to make their corrections. Do not use this company.

I purchased a bathroom vanity top which they fabricated incorrectly. They requested the exact dimensions of the cabinet and said they would add an overhang to all finished edges. They only added an overhang to 3 of 4 finished edges. Upon discovery of the issue, I attempted to contact the company on several different occasions only to be told that someone would call me back.
After finally getting a hold of Larry, the sales person I had worked with, he would not discuss the issue and said I needed to speak with the owner of the company, Badu. Larry said he would have Badu, the owner contact me. Badu never contacted me. Bottom line if you have an issue with Stone City's work or products they will simply ignore you and not attempt to rectify the issue and just take your money. Fortunately, for me this was a small project, however I would hate to be in this situation with a much larger job like a kitchen.

Well I remodeled my kitchen, I left the basic part as the same layout and I redid an area where there used to be a desk. They did a really great job designing the area there that worked with the whole kitchen. I had cabinets done, I did counter tops in granite, Ii also did a back splash and a bathroom vanity.

Our experience with stone city llc started out pretty good. MK was helpful and got everything scheduled, pricing completed, and our granite and sink selected. The second phase the template happened on time, but this was done by a contractor not a stone city employee. This is when this company started to fail. On the day the countertop were to be installed I was told they had slipped off the truck and broken and install would have to be pushed from Tuesday to Friday.
On Friday the installers showed up an hour and a half after the install window 9 to 10 became 11:30. During install the installer confused the direction of the one small piece that would require a seam, and proceeded to cut it which made the pice not fit. The installer then called the owner who said the could have a new piece the next day. The owner never called I had to contact him.
This is when he told me they have a new machine and it would be Monday for install. I received no call on Monday and it wasn't till I again had to call that they sent out the installer who only half finished the job, no chalk on the edges. The whole time he was installing the pice he explained the darker color would go away and match. It didn't and the owner is unwilling to correct the issue.
He did give a 10% discount on the job due to his delay causing a delay in my project but the countertops are now a mismatched color disappointment. I would be cautious with this company as they use the term industry standard a lot to explain shortcomings in their work. See picture of the countertop matching issue

It was a nightmare of an experience with this company. Stone City in Aurora Colorado Do not go with them. The sales staff are very sweet and professional. It stops right there. The owner is very rude and unprofessional the workers he hires are over worked and underpaid = crappy job done. To many things gone wrong with this company and lack of communication and workmanship. A job that was supposed to take 6 hours took 4 days and we still have problems. AURORA COLORADO

Very disappointed in this company! We purposely waited for a month for a 20% off sale at Home Depot to buy countertops for our house. In the meantime, we decided to shop around a bit, and went to Stone City. Our sales rep was nice, but the quote came in much higher than the Home Depot sale price. I sent a copy of the Home Depot quote to Stone City, and asked if they would be willing to price match, because we would rather support a local business.
Stone City agreed to price match, sent us a contract for the updated amount, and even scheduled the final measurements and installation. We signed and returned the contract, and paid a $3,070.16 deposit. Then, 2 days after the sale at Home Depot ended, Stone City called to say that they would no longer honor the contract! We were told that they had misjudged, and the job would actually require a larger slab, and there was no profit margin for them.
We relied on their word (and the contract we signed!) and we missed out on the sale. We are now stuck paying an extra $1,000 for countertops. Home Depot quote for Pietra Quartz: $4,094.88 Stone City quote for Pietra Quartz: $5,077.78 *The promotional date was on the Home Depot quote that I forwarded the sales rep. I can only assume that they saw the promotional end date, and decided to pull the contract after the promotion ended. Never buy from this company!

After much planning on flooring options, we landed up at StoneCity. The CEO Mr Babu was well versed with optimal home improvement ideas and even provided a phasewise approach. The crew who installed premium wood flooring were skilled in high-end installation techniques. They were committed, punctual and professional. I'd recommend StoneCity to anyone.

I had a very pleasant experience! I was referred by a co-work who was getting her bathroom counters installed after having Stone City doing her Kitchen last year. The pricing was great, the selection was okay, but I was able to find something I liked to go with my kitchen. I got the estimate fast as well as the confirmed measurements and install. Manan was wonderful to work with and the installers were pleasant as well.
Such a beautiful job at a great price! The countertops really warmed up the blah kitchen. I highly recommend using Stone City and if/when we redo our bathrooms I will contact them again.

We totally redid our kitchen and Stone City installed new cabinets and granite counter tops and also referred us to a contractor for demolition and paint. It was our first time using them and they did a good job, there were a couple issues with the contractor but that wasn't Stone City's fault. Both the counter tops and cabinets came out great, we couldn't be happier with them.

I am really pleased with Stone City still and I've been dealing with Scott for a while and they really have a great department there. I just have to say that he couldn't be more helpful, he is just the best and I couldn't imagine going any where else. It's a combination of everything what keeps on bringing me back: the price, their communication, they are professional.
