Decided to visit their showroom to look at their work and consider them as a candidate for a major 3 phase remodeling project we are undertaking. The showroom has lots of ideas and areas specifically for planning, so we were happy when one if the staff came out and asked if they could take our information. Received a call from Jim Groen an Architect Jackson and he spend an exceptional amount of time discussing option for our project.

We appreciated the professionalism shown to earn our business. We will definitely consider Jackson design when we proceed with our project. We encourage anyone considering a home renovation or addition to make an appointment to see their showroom or drop by.

My wife and I bought a home last year and everything but the kitchen was great so we decided to remodel. After speaking with various local companies we decided to work with Jackson Design because of the attention to detail they gave us. Communication is fluid and honest, and our experience has been very personalized and realistic. A true partner throughout the entire process and now our kitchen is exactly what we envisioned.

I spent over $300,000 with this company. Almost a full home remodel. I personally believe that I was overly patient and respectful. Design was decent. Project manager was repeatedly unresponsive. Project completion date was at least 5 months over the original estimation. Reaction time to numerous issues was unacceptable and typically took weeks/months and multiple follow up, requests and escalation. Electrical issues lasted for more than a year and a half to resolve. The owner was verbally insulting. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Perhaps they cannot handle larger jobs?

We have been living in our home for over 8 months after a complete remodel of a 1970s home into a modern contemprorary home with aview of a balanced indoor outdoor living space. JDR's team of professionals delivers on the vision, the process and completion with the utmost professionalism, friendly staff, and continued support long after the project was complete. Just got off the phone with them - just an FYI they told me right off the bat without knowing anything about the size or scope of my kitchen that their kitchen remodel work starts at a minimum of 75K so if your budget or scope is below that no need to check this company out. Their Houzz price range & averages are way off/inaccurate from that so don't trust that either. At least the woman was honest and I didn't waste time going into the showroom.

We could not be more happy with our kitchen remodel. From our very first interaction in the early concept and planning stages thru the last finishing touches, we had a very positive experience. Our collaboration with the JDR team was very interactive, they listened to ideas and visions and then assisted in finding practical solutions. The professionalism and quality of their services is outstanding - from the design through the material selection and actual construction, we always felt that in JDR we had a partner who was looking our for us and ready to go above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied with the outcome. We would work with JDR any time again.

Jackson & Design built our Casita in the backyard They did a phenomenal job! It was a slow process to start with permits and all (why the 4 star), but when they saw the frustration my husband and I had, they held a meeting with the city, included us in it, and our work finally got started. When they started, there were workers there everyday, non-stop. It was built so quick, I couldn't believe. We will use them again for future remodeling needs because they are dependable.

I did an extensive condo remodel. Needed a designer to improve the small space kitchen for 2 people and flow and added a 3rd floor office, library, & exercise area loft within the vaulted ceiling area among other improvements. It was a difficult job with limited common area parking & need for trash removal. Hired JDR as heard they were excellent in small space design & construction.

I was not disappointed! Pamela is an outstanding designer along with her assistant Jennifer who changed drawings while we were meeting so we could see them on paper rather than wait and have another meeting or call. This allowed for easier design & product decisions on our part. Arnold went with me to present to the HOA requesting approval on changes for roof penetrations & a new chimney location for my fireplace.

Very happy with JDR's design! Then, there was Joe, our construction project manager. In all remodels there are surprises when you are removing walls, adding a walk-in shower, removing a bathtub that requires rearranging plumbing for a new soak tub, etc. and Joe's experience and problem solving skills, along with Pamela, saved time and money. I had to move out because of the work and Joe was in constant contact with updates and photos of progress.

During construction, I believe Joe had my interest at heart and went beyond the call to make us happy. My sweetheart & I are enjoying my new condo. The JDR design-build team made it possible. My highest recommendation!

From the onset we were impressed with their high standards of excellence. We attended their seminar and found it to be extremely informative and helpful as they included many tips and details regarding the remodeling process and what to look for when considering remodeling contractors.

We were able to chat with Todd Jackson and Jim Groen at the seminar and decided to take it to the next step. Jim came to our house for the initial meeting and shared some wonderful ideas with us and listened carefully as we described our vision for our new living space. We then met Sol, our amazing and intuitive designer who, along with Jim, came up with an incredible design for us.

It was a definite GO for us. And we were not disappointed! All of the members of our team did a great job. We appreciated our project manager, Mike's 'can-do and hands-on attitude'. My husband and I grew up in "Do it your self" type families. We have learned a very important lesson. We can do things ourselves and do it over and over until one of us gives up or we can Call JDR and do it right the first time. It took 3 months to complete our new kitchen and both of us would do it again in a heart beat. They spoiled us. Phone calls and texts were answered with in minutes every time.

They were always listening to our needs or wants. I asked for "The WOW factor" Bonnie gave us more WOW than anyone would expect. Our neighbors are still in shock. There is nothing I would change and I truly feel they are family to us now. This was the best decision we have ever made!
