Our process for kitchen renovations starts with the heart and most important aspect of the kitchen: the kitchen cabinets. If you are going to invest in a kitchen remodel, then it is very important to make sure you are getting well-built, durable cabinets. Our kitchen cabinets are built by local cabinet builders, and are designed and built to maximize your available space.
Some of the features include solid ¾ plywood with maple veneer bases (instead of particle board, used by several stock cabinet manufactures), biscuit inserted hardwood shelf fronts, and biscuit joinery construction (instead of plastic corner bracing).

Working with Phil and Raelene on our office project was super easy! They showed up on time - got the job done - and were very pleasant to have in the office. Phil was available by phone when we needed help with an inspection from the Health Department. This was a donated job - but he treated us like full-paying customers!

We are very pleased with our home remodel thanks to Raelene and definitely plan on using her in the future and referring her to all family and friends. Working with Raelene Mathis for our home remodel and decorating was organized, professional, budget friendly and stress free for our family. Raelene went the extra mile with all detail and was always available for questions and further explanation when needed.
She assisted us with initial in home consultation, budget planning, preliminary space plan layouts using AutoCAD, furniture/decor/color selections, and provided vendors that helped with designs for custom banquette and dinning table. Thank you Raelene!

Raelene and Phil Mathis of Mathis Custom Remodeling are kind and ethical people. This is an important point to make in the world of contractors. I simply did not have the time to pick all the colors, materials, patterns, etc. I told Raelene what I wanted and said, "Make it happen." And that she did! I highly recommend their work. They are punctual, energetic, and come full of great ideas to make your bathroom remodel dreams a reality.
They are conscientious and methodical with their work. Additionally, they went above and beyond by resealing a portion of my kitchen floor that was driving me nuts and could have potentially become an issue in the near future.complimentary! I recommend Phil and Raelene for bathroom remodeling, you will not be disappointed.

Our kitchen, dining room, and bath remodels turned out so great. The Mathis Custom Remodeling team took care of us from start to finish. Our neighbors are so jealous of our custom cabinets! With the special pull out drawers in the kitchen pantry, and the custom hair dryer drawer in my bath vanity. And they were even less than Home Depot cabinets would have been. The tile work looks like it belongs in a 2 million dollar San Diego home and the project came in under budget. You can't beat that. Thank you Phil!
