Waited 3 weeks for a estimate. They called the night before to confirm. Then the morning of the called 15 minutes after appointment time saying they are running late and it would be another 45min. I have taken time off work changed my schedule for this estimate. Have more respect for peoples time. I understand things come up and you run late. But it would be pretty simple to reach out and let me know as soon as you were aware you were running late not once you were already late. Will not use poor customer service

Chesterfield Tile Co was amazing! We had a bad leak and resulted in gutting a 2nd floor bathroom and rebuilding the walls and ceiling below and they exceeded our expectations. Everyone at the company was incredibly nice and they were so prompt to get us an estimate, answer my 9,000 questions and get us scheduled. I was really indecisive about EVERYTHING but they were so patient and even helped us with design (paint color, grout color etc) and it looks better than I imagined.
We are going to use them to redo our other bathrooms because it was such a great (and affordable) experience. I wish the photos did it justice because everything looks incredible!

Heres why my family has used chesterfield tile repeatedly and has another project lined up. THEY FINISH THE PROJECT IN THE TIME THEY SAY THEY WILL TAKE. Yes, all of the work looks beautiful and yes they are reasonably priced (good work costs good money) but I cannot tell you how upset I get when a contractor says they will do X job in Y days and then its Z days later and its still not done.
When Mike and Matt came to the house and tore up my bathroom they said I would have a toilet back in there by Jan 2? 3? And when the day got here, Mike was missing a part. And he WENT BACK OUT and GOT THE PART and FINISHED THE WORK IN TIME. If you have ever worked with a contractor, you know that this is RARE. Thanks Sondra and Thanks Mike! Yall are the BEST!

These guys are awful. They build three tile showers in my new house. Not one had a floor properly configured. The water pooled in all showers. It took them three visits to fix the floors and still they are barely adequate. Now 5 months after moving it, parts of the floor in the master are over run with mildew. It could not be much worse.

The whole floor needing to be replaced in a shower, and the shower retiled after that. After reading a lot of nice reviews for Chesterfield Tile on a popular commercial review website, I was looking forward to getting this smaller job done, because I have two bathrooms at another house that I wanted completely tiled afterward, and this made for a good test before shelling out more money for a bigger job. First, the good: 1).
The price was good, in my opinion 2). Everything from initial contact through sales visit and estimate went great. 3). The two guys that came out to perform the work were nice. The disappointments: 1). Chesterfield Tile selected and installed a color for the walls that I didn't agree to. The shower floor and floor tile are fine though - the problem was just with the walls.
When I called in to point out the issue with the tile color on the walls, that is when things went downhill, and I lost all confidence in their company. The owner tried various tactics on that call to force me to accept the wrong color including gruffly grumbling "read the contract". Fact is that contract didn't mention any color - we had agreed verbally on the tile's color, and I took the owner at his word that he would do what we agreed to.
To his credit, but only after a long and ugly argument, he did eventually agree to replace the wall tile at his expense. My problem was I had lost all confidence in him at that point. I let them finish up the work at that house, went to their office to pay what I owed, and politely fired them. 2). (Warp ahead a few days) The people living in that house (I just own it) waited a full week for the grout to dry before using that repaired shower.
Upon first use of the shower, the formerly free-flowing and working drain only let water out very slowly. Long story short, the Chesterfield Tile workers had dropped, or maybe swept, some grout, tile fragments or other debris into the open shower drain, which almost completely clogged it. That cost $412.94 to fix (replace clogged pipes/trap). I have the original clogged parts and pictures of what the plumber found, should the company make the mistake of challenging me, or we end up in court for some reason. Like I mentioned earlier, I had fired them earlier, and am done with the company forever - which is a shame, because I really need a good tile contractor.

They put off the date to start the job, and then it took longer than I was told. My main complaint is with the shower floor. They never sealed the grout, part of the floor tile accent square was missing, some chipped and broken when installed and several were not flush with the rest of the floor tiles The owner ignored my requests for.repair work, and then after almost 2 months, someone came out and fixed most of the missing, broken, etc tiles, but used the wrong color grout, and missed several area's of the floor to be grouted.
I again requested follow up repair work which Mr. Gooden e-mailed me that he would do, but then again ignored my repeated requests, and even though he stated a %100 quarante, he has refused to send someone back out to fix the floor, instead he says it is my fault because I did not use the proper products to clean the floor. I have issued a complaint with the BBB, Angie's List, and will see this through.
A phone call to his office ended when the person on the other end hung up on me. Also, they insist that the grout had sealer in it, yet the grout was turning yellow, and continues to turn yellow in the areas that were missed and other places on the floor. I would never recommend this company to anyone who appreciates good customer service, because it is certainly lacking in this company.
