We've done a lot of research on solar and finally decided to go with LA Solar Group. Workers were kind, communication was good. I was told 6 weeks but it took them 3 weeks to install my solar system. I'm so happy that I got rid of Dwp and feels good to help environment. thank you LA Solar Group!

One microinverter of my solar panel system was down so I reached out to LA Solar for replacement service. It took some time to receive the replacement part, and then after about 6 days the technician came to my home to replace the unit. The experience was smooth.

I picked LA Solar Group to install my solar system. I couldn't be happier. Torey &Cece was very responsive and kind throughout the pre-installation and post installation process. They installed my panels in 3 weeks and my system was on at week 6. I've already recommended them to my brother and my friends. Thank you LA Solar and keep it up.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I had LA solar group for less then a year the installation process was awful, no communication what so ever. If I didn't reach out to see what the status was I would've never got a phone call. After a few months I sold my home and needed a lease transfer, OMG was a nightmare, I kept getting the run around. I ended up paying for a month that I didn't even live there anymore (which ok I understood bc of paperwork) the lease transfer happened like 2 months ago and just last week they charged me AGAIN!

First off why would you still have my bank info? how dare you charge me when I no longer lease from you? what if I were someone that NEEDS that money and can't just give up those $200? So I called and "they said" they were going to mail me my check.and calm when they mail my check.still waiting for the call? and my money has yet to be returned. PLEASE DO NOT go with LA SOLAR for solar panels, look for someone else that is actually on your side and is going to assist you. Look at my situation Im not even leasing with them anymore and Im still having to deal with their mess.

This company does not respond and has no respect for the customer. I signed two separate contracts with them; one for solar and one for batteries. My solar installation site is ~130ft from my main panel and it requires them to run a line through an existing trench. Well, they put the panels on my roof nearly two months ago and left without making a connection 130ft to my main panel.

Given the large amount of work to be done I initially was hesistant to pay the request entire contract amount minus $500. I eventually submitted payment after harassment and sure enough I have received zero commitment to actually connecting the panels to my house. They claim they are waiting for the batteries but that is an entirely separate contract and they should not hold up the solar installation.

They are aware that this is holding up my entire construction project because they need to have the trench inspected before I can place water lines above it. The battery installation has been a disaster as well. They did not notify me that I needed to put in a concrete pad. Even after I agreed they refused to provide any instructions about the location or the size.

It seems they are asking me to guess and take on the risk of the inspector telling me to redo it. Additionally, I have had two separate calls from their office telling me the batteries are ready to install only to hear from a different person that this was an error and that there is not information about availability. What a complete disaster of a company. Meanwhile their customers in California have an impending NEM 3 deadline.

My solar system contract that I had with another company was acquired by LA Solar. I was never notified. Something happened to my system. I've contacted this company in countless occasions, I only got an Email saying your system is working now. I've asking for an explanation as to why my system stopped working, an explanation of why I wasnt notified and assume responsability for costs associated with malfunction. NO RESPONSE from the company.

STILL the worst possible company to get solar from. Today, I discovered several of their contact numbers don't work. Also, though they claim they monitor my system to be sure all is well, I found out that I have been off line and not producing for over a week! Avoid at all costs! Mike M. - Pasadena, ca

Just completed our installation of a Telsa Powerwall. It went relatively smoothly, though it was about an 8-month wait, which was because of delays at Tesla, not LA Solar. Their customer service is not always the most responsive, but the technicians were great and we were happy with the project overall.

They are responsible and efficiency. I am strong recommend La solar group to all of future potential users.

When we first got our system a few years ago, we couldn't have been happier. Estimation, installation, everything went great. Sales and installers were all very pleasant to work with and the system performed well. Now, however, we've had a problem with the system losing connection to the Internet. The first call I made, I got hung up on.

The second call I made, I was told I would get a call back; never received it. I called again and was told to email regarding the problem, and to include a picture of the panel. When I sent that in, we finally got an email, then a call back: "Are you available in 30 minutes for a technician?" Sure! Great! (Not like we've got lives to lead or anything.) The technician came out, parked **across the street** for well over AN HOUR, and then took off (photographic evidence supplied upon request).

Never knocked on our door, never came to our gates, never saw the panel/system or even got within 50 feet of it. Just. Took. Off. I called immediately: "Your tech just took off. Never even came to the door." Was told, "Oh, you need a Wifi Extender." Wait, wut? Your lazy-ass tech parks across the street for an hour taking a nap, never looks at our system, and diagnoses that we need a Wifi extender? FROM ACROSS THE FRICKIN STREET?!?!? Was pushed over to someone else to schedule an appointment. Asked for a supervisor. Got pushed to - Go Figure! - a voicemail box to leave a message.

So now, we're here. To Anyone Looking for a Solar Company: gawd help you if you use this one and need service again. Would highly recommend ANY OTHER COMPANY, sight unseen. To Any Competitors to L.A. Solar: This is an excellent opportunity for you to swoop in and offer service contracts. Please, for the love of all the cosmos, do so, post haste!

And To L.A. Solar: Don't even *think* about asking me to take this down unless you show up with flowers and champagne and make this top-to-bottom, 100-percent, absolutely, positively RIGHT. Your customer service is ABYSMAL.

LA Solar did an amazing job at our home. Replaced old electrical panel, installed a new solar system generating almost 60kWh of power each day. The teams that worked on our home were very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and did very clean work overall. They did the entire job from A to Z including replacing the roof, replacing an old panel from the 50s, and the wall patching needed for that in around 4 weeks. Including LADWP permitting. Very impressed with their work and my new electric bill.

I can't speak enough about my experience with LA Solar Group, specially Gia who was my first contract last year. She was able to answer every question, I had. For 5 years our family help from going solar, till we found LA Solar Group. No pressure, great customer service, very professional, took us from 1st step to the final on installation, during the high of Covid. Gia, the schedluing project managers, and the installation staff was great. Kept in touch with us communicated either by email, text, or call my phone. Extremly satisfied with the services, product, and their staff spending the time to answer questions about the system, the application, and great value.

Had a very good experience overall with LA Solar Group thanks to my account rep Landon Cicero. I was frankly amazed at the favorable pricing and how quickly the solar got installed once we'd finalized and executed the contract; the entire process took about a month from the first site visit until the LADWP meter installation. Also, Landon and the rest of the LA Solar team were extremely communicative and quick to jump on any issues that arose and even went so far as to clean up all insulation fill areas and touch up any affected areas (thanks William Harris!). Would definitely recommend them if you're looking for rooftop solar.

Some hiccups but nothing terrible. System is running well. Would use them again. They have been responsive to issues with the inverters and have managed replacements. I wish their monitoring group were the ones calling me to tell me they noticed something strange instead of me telling them that I logged in and noticed the system hasn't been reporting for months, but once I notice the issue, but I'm general they respond well.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. They have messed up on our contract wont fix it. They replaced our roof and left boards and nails all over the place. They give you a day to show up and then don't. They don't communicate at all. No one knows what the other one is doing. They had to break and re patch my wall twice because one guy didn't know what the other one was doing. They don't clean up after themselves. Overall just a horrible company

I was asked to update my review so here goes. My system has PTO. I kind of wished their support team had given me a heads-up that I needed to be on a TOU plan in order to switch to the TOU EV plan on PTO. Due to me being on a flat rate plan, I was forced Into a less desirable plan ubtil the next billing cycle. Not entirely their fault but they are in this business and should know better.

My panels are generating without issues, the team is more responsive. I am unable to speak to the quality of the installation from a leak perspective as were in a drought. haven't had any rain on the roof to ensure no excessive penetration.

Well this is where I eat some crow. Our prior Solar installer sold to LA Solar Group, LSG not only jumped right in and fixed every issue, but they [Lucy CSR] went above and beyond with great customer service, took the time to walk me through the issues, explained the how the fix would work, and then did a follow up call to make sure everything was in order. I won't hesitate to recommend LA Solar Group for your home/business. A strong thank you to James as well, thank you for taking the time to see the issues fixed.

Awful, awful, awful company. How does this company have enough positive reviews to give it over 1 star? We are STILL trying to get everything installed after giving them all the money they said the NEEDED to move forward. - A month ago the installation guys came over but there panels weren't delivered. The next day the panels were delivered and they sat in our garage for over a week before they were installed. - The electrical stuff was dropped off over 3 weeks ago, still no installation and NO responses from our calls. - After calling and complaining they told us to pay them 95% of the cost to move forward, we paid them, NO response from the company! - We are VERY VERY UNHAPPY with this company, DO NOT USE THEM!

Here's the most important thing I learned during my saga with LA Solar: when you install solar, you will be working with that company for years and years. Your relationship does NOT end when the installation ends (which itself can take an agonizingly long time with LA Solar). So my solar does work. I should be clear about that. It does. Most of the time.

If the grid power goes out, it doesn't power itself back up correctly. And they can't figure that out. I've given up trying. But it literally took more than 10 visits from LA Solar to get my new installation up and running - that's not counting initial site visits before I signed the contract. And, naturally, they promised me it would be done by the end of the year, and it three more months for them to finally finish.

Each "team" that comes out has no idea what the previous group did. There is zero continuity here. And some teams can handle batteries and some can't. It's a total mess, and you'll be the one sorting the mess out if you make the mistake of signing a contract with these people. The promises they made were NOT kept at all. And in the two years since, I've had several problems. Trying to reach these guys to deal with my problems is painful.

I have a lot of friends asking me for solar referrals, and all I can tell them is, do NOT work with LA Solar. Yes, LA Solar offers me a referral fee for new leads, but no, I will not do that to my friends. Never. TL;DR - find any other company for your PV installation

The lastest power outage was 5/10/22. LA Solar was not available to help with my systems malfunction. Said would respond in 2 days which is no help. Still no phone call, 6 days. Received two unintelligible emails requesting data which I cannot provide. This is typical of my experience. Do yourself a favor choose a solar provider based on aftermarket support. 5/17/22 Grid outage 5/10/22. 6:45 AM this morning I get a message from LA Solar saying that a tech crew will be at my house between 8 - 10 AM.

Never saw the message. They did call to say that the crew was at my house at 10:05 AM. They weren't. They came a while later and said the system all checked out and even told me how much power my system was making during the outage. It wasn't. They could not explain the failure to seamlessly transfer to battery, why on a sunny day the photo voltaics were not filling up the battery and why on 5/5/22 the Tesla battery app showed no power being made while the Enphase app said the system was working. Once again. Look for good service after purchase.

The energy consultant, Taron helped me to understand the kind of panels I will need and the amount Of panels that would cover my usage. He and his partner Ashot helped me through the entire process of installation and been available for me every time I reached out with additional questions. Customer service is super important to me and I felt well taken care of. Also, you can rest assured I did my research and got multiple quotes from competitions.

It ended up being a waste of time since Taron gave me the best quote around. I can easily recommend these guys to friends and family and I am sure they will be as happy as I am.

Something recent and terrible has happened with this Company! We have lost close to $50,000 to LA Solar Group in the past 4 months. They will not answer e-mails or phone calls. We've asked for supervisors and there has been a constant turn over and there is no one taking on our case/issue/system. We started this process to get Solar installed in our new vacation home in Canyon Lake, CA last summer (2021) We chose them (over other bids) because we used them for our Seal Beach home and were happy and have even referred them in the past.

Solar panels were installed in October, 2021 and we still are not operational. There is absolutely NO communication or resolution from anyone in this Company. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau. Update: 2 months after this post, the issue is completely resolved. Thank you LA Solar! We had immediate support but it was a long process to get it fully resolved because of a constant turn over of supervisors. I think they have resolved their issues and we are satisfied. Thank you again

IF YOU HAVE HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH LA SOLAR GROUP PLEASE CONTACT US - WE ARE SEEKING TO DO CLASS-ACTION LITIGATION AGAINST THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY. BUYER BEWARE - go with any other solar company! Don't make the same mistake we did and don't believe anything about their guarantee or contract. Negative reviews are accurate and all LA Solar Group cares about is their optics, not their contracts with customers or system performance.

I discovered that our system underperformed in its first year on 2020 by 19.6%. Their contract states that an allowable amount of production is 95 - 115% of the contracted guarantee. THEY WILL NOT MONITOR YOUR SYSTEM - you have to do it yourself. I contacted LA Solar Group in Feb 2021 about the deficit. They sent a tech out a few weeks later and discovered that we had malfunctioning inverter, which they eventually replaced.

All of that was fine. Considering the sizable deficit, I inquired how they were going to honor the contracted amount of production. Have been in touch with Greg S (and others) at LA Solar Group trying to get them to bring our system up to the contracted amount of production. And the run around started. First - they said it had to do with shading and that our trees weren't trimmed. Considering that all of our trees are regularly trimmed and were in place when the system was designed, LA Solar Group should have considered shading when they did heat-mapping of our property during system design.

Second - after 3 months of back and forth via email with Greg - responses lacking specifics or direct answers to our questions - they offered to put in 2 panels for free, but NOT compensate us for the lost production in 2020 or in 2021 until the new inverter was installed. These new panels will produce 1100 kwh, but is only 1/5 of the amount needed to bring our system up to the contracted amount of production.

Third - They suggested that we PAY THEM $2200 for 2 additional panels to bring our system up to the contracted amount of production, but also neglected to say how many kwh these additional 2 panels would produce for us. So we're skeptical that we will ever get the contracted amount of energy. Even 4 additional panels won't bring the system up to contract.

Ultimately - after months and months of frustrating back and forth. I sent them proof of tree-trimming and they paid us $1K for the lack of production. In August of 2022 - I will be analyzing our output and going after them again for lack of production, which will undoubtably be a complete nightmare. We paid for a system that was supposed to cover all our energy needs + hot tub + 2 electric cars.

We have only added a hot tub to our system, but we still have a sizable electric bill every month. ROOFING ISSUES - DO NOT GET THEM TO INSTALL A NEW ROOF: The current April 2022 issue is with the roof they installed under our solar panels. It leaks and is causing interior damage to our home. I contacted them immediately about this issue and all we get is DELAYS DELAYS DELAYS and no follow-up, which is typical with this company.

They didn't even have our Roofing Appendum in their files - I had to send them the signed roofing contract! Cost to repair the roof from our regular roofing company is $9K. LA SOLAR GROUP DOES NOT WANT TO HONOR ANY CONTRACTS. Don't forget! If you leave a negative review, they will try to convince you to update your review because - OPTICS. Posting reviews is the only way to get out of the endless runaround.

If you sign a contract with them, don't expect them to honor it. If you have been wronged by this company - please contact me. We are seeking to open up a class-action lawsuit against them.

Update 3/24/22 Good news is that the system has continued to work ever since the last update and we're saving money on our power bills. The bad news is that we discovered water damage on our ceilings under where the solar panels were installed after a rainy day. Thus started another round of trying to get in contact with LA Solar. It took 51 days to have my water damage all fixed.

On 12/21/21 I emailed that I had found water damage to Tigran, who said he would be the one to help me with any questions I had on my system, considering my past difficulties with LA Solar. I get an auto response email saying that Tigran is on vacation. No worries, its the holidays, I'll just email the service team like it says in Tigran's email.

I emailed the service team letting LA Solar know that we had found water damage on the ceiling. No response. I sent a follow up email on 1/3/22, again, no response. I sent a follow up email about my follow email on 1/9/22, but again, no response. Frustrated, I called on 1/13/22 and was finally able to speak with someone who requested that I email photos of the damage.

I sent the emails of photos out and got a confirmation that the photos had been received on the same day. On 1/20/22 I sent a follow up email asking about the status. I thought it was a bad idea to wait for an email response and just called. This gets something finally moving and I begin talking with a contractor to inspect and repair the roof and repaint/replace the water spots inside the house.

Almost an entire month to get something going with water damage. The contractors that were sent out were nice guys and helped repair the problem and repaint inside the house. The work was completed 2/10/22. There was no real delay by anyone at this point, just needing to schedule having the people come and check the roof, repair, time for the repairs to set, a water test and then painting. I still would not recommend LA Solar Group.

We have used LA Solar group now on 3 homes. In 2017 they were a decent company to work with (our first experience in Solar). We moved and used them for a second time in 2018-2019. This time was much less satisfactory, and resulted in poor recommendations about their communication and service. We thought in may have been a 1-off, and chose to use them again for our current project that started in September 2019, and still is not completed.

I would absolutely not recommend LA Solar to anyone. I thought that because we were doing such a big project (over $180k in total) that we would get better service. But the service this time is even worse than our last experience with them. We now have 3 data points (projects) that we have done with LA Solar group, and they are not improving. They are getting worse.

The unfortunate thing this time is that we are now having to engage Legal representation against LA Solar Group, because they have stopped trying to finish our project, and we are left cleaning up the incredible mess they have caused. Stay away from LA Solar Group at all costs. You will regret your experience with them.

Definitely I recommend this company yes it took long time to install the Tesla gateway with 2 batteries but it wasn't there fault all that delays because the pandemic and Tesla batteries delivery after all the professional work form starts to the ends specifically from Mr : austin@lasolargoup.com

Have been working with LA Solar for years. Back in 2016 the installed my original system. I have since added 2 backup batteries and additional panels. I have been working with Bianca and every time I work with her she is professional and extremely helpful. She answers all my question in a timely fashion and work with my schedule. On whole the company is wonderful. I am very happy I have them as my solar team.

Energysage.com was very helpful and presented three quotes. All were good but LA Solar was the best price and responsiveness to my (perhaps unusual) requests. I wanted 1) panels made in the US, 2) micro-inverters, and 3) installation on a flat roof without puncturing the roof. Randely was my main contact and she did a great job wrangling the different people involved on the project. We're very happy with the results and I highly recommend them.

Was not aware you could pay and buy good reviews. Who knew? I recommend you review their license number with the State Licensing Board before you sign up for their service. I failed miserably multiple inspections for both solar and batteries. When we finally passed ( 10th inspection ) and received the green light to turn on the system, LA Solar is unable to set a date for them to return.

What good is a system if it is not turned on? I have now emailed each person from my sales rep ( Randely ) to administration (Hamlet ) to accounting in the hopes that someone has the courtesy to reply and confirm a date. Wish me lucK.

Nice people my sales rep was a very nice guy. At the end of the day I could not afford solar but wanted to leave a positive review for the experience I had with them. Very patient with me, when financing fell through they were very kind and didn't treat me like a waste of time.

If you want to be your own project manager contact LA Solar for your solar needs! LA Solar has horrible communication within their group. Ara contacted me via yelp telling me someone would reach out and no one ever did. I had to reach out to numerous people to get through to the right person to correct the conduit on my MPU upgrade. They have scheduled 2 appointments to have the corrections done and they have missed both appointments.

I am happy I chose LA Solar to complete my roof and solar install. With all construction projects, there are always hiccups along the way, but because my sales representative was Gia, I knew that I would still be in great hands. Gia is very patient with explaining all of the details of the contract and also worked hard to provide me the best deal for my circumstance.

She also made sure to stay on top of the field crew when things fell down throughout the project. Without Gia, I likely wouldn't have the same pleasant experience as I did with my solar and roof project going to completion. Thanks so much Gia for doing everything you said you'd do at the start of the project and more!

I am writing this review before my project is completed as my experience with LA Solar Group has been great. I had anxiety because of some of the recent reviews but wanted to share my positive experience thus far. I will finalize once the solar project is completed & Tesla Powerwalls (batteries) are installed. My experience w/ LA Solar Group has been 5-star so far.

My sales rep was Zaven who was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I compared Zaven's pricing with 2 others and it was the best price without compromising on quality. I'd recommend Zaven to anyone in my network. Once converted, he still remained active and served as an available resource. Then I started working with Nelli (project manager) to get ready for install.

She was also helpful. The scheduling team needs work. It takes some patience and I'm sure LA Solar Group will work to enhance this team. Now we are onto Day 3 of install. The crew has worked very hard, take pride in quality work and worked late into the evening with a smile. LA Solar Group is lucky to have Hector, Ricardo, Ulysses, Juan, Andres on the team! Hector is the foreman and I felt very comfortable with him leading the team. I'll update this review once the project is completed (waiting for inspection & battery install) but so far, so good.

I worked with this company and my experience was superb. We negotiated with them and got a reasonable price and terms and they did as agreed. They still give us service and assist if we ever ask for it and to me the is 5 star. Immediate communication, some one is always there to talk to, weather phone call, text, whatssapp or email. I shopped around and new what I want which is very important and these guys delivered exactly as I wanted. I will recommend them and have passed their number to friends.

We contracted LA Solar to install solar on our property and ran into a few issues. Candace their accounting employee came to our rescue and resolved a huge one for us. She saw the frustration and not only resolved it but acted on a personal level understanding the problem and fought for us to resolve it. When no one else would even answer the phone she was always there and picked up her phone.

Our sewer pipe was cut when worker was trenching to run electrical lines. They never even told us. Just buried it. They cut our electrical line to water well pump also and wasn't going to say anything. But I saw it and asked what happened and was told it probably was a sprinkler line. These were contracted employees. But when I asked for reimbursement of 2800 for sewer line repair LA Solar said it was too much and refused to pay it. Candace championed our cause and fought to get us reimbursed. she is an asset to this company as she saw how important customer service is. Ignoring a customer and their concerns or phone calls us detrimental to any business but Candace was always there with a listening ear to our concerns and put herself in our place.

Always understanding and kind and professional. The rest of the staff there should follow her example of " how to treat a customer". A company only exist because of its customers and Candace went above and beyond assisting us. She is someone I would want on my team. She's empathetic and puts herself in the customers shoes and takes any concern seriously. LA Solar is fortunate to have her.

She should be overseeing all them and they could learn alot by viewing her example and applying it in their interactions with customers. She applies the saying "treat people how you want to be treated". Its not hard to do and many times forgotten. But Candace always treated us with with respect and helped us when no one else would. Ty again Candace. Your an asset to LA Solar.

Just beware and do not contact them to do your project. A horrible management, terrible scheduling, unreliable and unaccountable company. They will not show up for scheduled appointments ( confirmed on previous day), they won't even bother to call you to apologize or to reschedule. When you call and start screaming, then some new crew comes to work, without any knowledge what was done before and what's their job that day.

Chain of commands and communication between them is zero. If I was able to give a 0 star- that's what this company deserved based on my own experience- project started in July. Still not done. LA Solar group- you suck big time!

I decided to go with LA Solar because their sales rep was great! However, the first time they came for installation they did not have the correct parts and couldn't do any work. The second time they came for installation they couldn't find rafters for mounting, so they ended up drilling about 40 unnecessary holes in my roof, and they even drilled through the ceiling below (see photos).

They patched the roof with caulk. Several days later they sent someone to patch and paint the ceilings. He did a mediocre job but was very pleasant. They almost completed the install on the third work day, which was 2 weeks after our original install date. This time they drilled too far through the wall stucco while mounting the shutoff panel and damaged belongings I had in storage behind it.

This project still hasn't been completed. The sense I get is that they simply have more jobs than they are able to handle with appropriately trained technicians. Make sure you read recent reviews!

Update 11/28/21: As of 10/18/21 I finally have a functioning system with online monitoring. This involved more emails to get sorted out. After a month of checking the monitoring, everything seems to finally be working as intended. Overall, still not a good experience when compared to another solar company I had worked with. While the price was great, I don't think it was worth all the headaches to get to a completed state 10 months after I signed a contract.

Over the course of our project, my account has been bounced from one manager to another. Part of this was due to the pandemic, understandably, but at a certain point that excuse starts to get real tired. In the early days, it was easy to get someone to take charge and try to move things forward. At this point, everyone I talk to, text, or email, is very nice and quick to express chagrin at how terribly things are going but no one is capable or willing to actually get anything done about it.

Except for Candice, she's been great at keeping in touch with me (but ultimately nothing gets done because regrettably she handles Accounting, not Operations). At this point, I've got a gigantic pack of solar panels that were delivered to my house on October 7th that are as yet still uninstalled and have been sitting in my kitchen for well over a month now. I've reached out over phone and email multiple times in this time and can't get anybody to do anything. Meanwhile, to add insult to injury, they keep sending me invoices to be paid when the job isn't done. I'm seriously about to call a lawyer.

We are satisfied with the solar panels that LA Solar installed and they have been working well for over a year. We haven't paid LADWP for power since they were installed which is terrific. But I can't recommend LA Solar because the poor communication skills by the onsite crew (many didn't speak English) and lack of professionalism by the office crew really disappointed us and caused a lot of frustration. The sales consultant, Austin, was great though but he was only my initial point of contact.

After a bit of confusion at the beginning of the process and a delay due to batteries not being available La Solar group came through and did an amazing job installing my batteries, installation was fast and professional, everyone who came to my property was professional and knowledgeable, couldn't be happier with the final product. Thanks LA Solar Group.

Update: A representative named Greg reached out to me to hear and learn about the issues I was having. He was very understanding and very courteous. Once he heard everything he got straight to work and started to get things moving forward very quickly! Whenever an installation took place or if an inspector came Greg always called me at the end of the day to follow up with me and see if I was happy with the work that was done, if there was something that I had concerns about he would make sure things were taken care of with the best quality.

I have to also mention Hamlet who is in charge of construction/installation. He personally made a house visit to assess the situation and let the installers know exactly what needed to be done. Even though this installation took WAY longer than expected once I started dealing with Greg and Hamlet my experience with the company became much better. I was able to stop worrying if/when things were going to get done because I was pretty confident that they would go out of their way to make sure things were on track! As of today I have fully functioning solar panels running great thanks to Greg and Hamlet!

I ordered some PowerWalls from LA Solar nearly a year ago. I paid them $6950.00 five months ago and was informed my PowerWalls would be installed on November first. That date came and went without so much as a phone call. Now LA Solar won't even answer their phone.

Kept getting emails with job offers starting at $21+ hourly with my experience. I called a few times and all the recruiters confirmed the starting pay rate of 21+ for my experience level. They had me drive almost 2 hours in traffic only to arrive and have them tell me 17 to start and there will be traveling involved. Don't take the trip to "interview" regardless of where you are. The people that interviewed me did not care that they lied and had me drive out knowing damn well they were going to start me so low.

LA Solar Group has provided the single worst customer experience I've ever had. It's taken a full year to get a battery installed, and have been unable to finish the job. The scheduling is an absolute nightmare. They text customers the day before, sometimes the day of the service and give a four window. And then they don't show up. Every phonecall, text and email is with someone different.

It's impossible to tell who actually works there. Half the time you're speaking with the Nevada Solar Group instead. In the past 6 weeks, LA Solar Group has made 3 separate appointments to come finish my project. Each time, after I waited at home for 4 hours, they texted me that night that the technician couldn't make it. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.

Ara - please contact me! I worked with Gary Lubin a few years ago and he was so great and responsive but now when I try to call or email no one will get back to me. It has been a week of a numerous amount of phone calls and emails and no one will answer my questions. Our system is under producing to our usage and we have questions. I have never had such a negative experience with LA Solar Group that I am currently having!

In entered into contract with this company back in April of this year. John, the sales rep was very attentive and answered all my questions. However, pressured me into signing all documents ASAP. Based on the initial interaction I thought this was a professional company and felt they would do a good job. Fast forward to now, mid September, I can't even get one single person to call me back.

Through the whole process, they missed multiple appointments to do the installation, patching walls, an even numerous inspections. The inspector even told me that he's had many issues with this company. I wish I had known this. The utility company has finally given me the Permission to Operate, which is what we had been waiting for, for over a month. However, LA Solar has been MIA for months. Oh!

Their finance office called me a few weeks ago telling me that the loan documents I had signed back in April were no longer valid because they were not doing work with that company any more. So they had me apply for a loan with another company, affecting my credit score AGAIN! I was told that my first payment would be 30 days after the panels were turned on. However, now I'm being told that my first payment is on October 1st.

Even though the panels are not turned on yet. I have emailed about 10 people and no one is replying. Everyone's voice mail boxes are always full. Please look somewhere else if you are looking for solar panels. This company is not professional, they are hard to work with, and even city inspectors are not happy working with them. LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

It was a huge mistake hiring LA Solar. They were super responsive and organized during the sales process and then it all goes down hill once the contract is signed and they have your money. I won't bore you with the details of what a mess the install process was, the main is issue is that we passed city inspection in early June and two months later we are still not active.

They claim it takes 1-4 weeks for the utility company to activate but two months later and I've paid for panels that are just sitting on my roof doing nothing. LA solar has failed at providing updates, there is no transparency with respect to their communication with the utility company. It's been a nightmare. I also have zero confidence that they will stand behind any of the warranties in their contract at this point. If my solar system ever gets live and there is an issue can i rely on them to fix it - i doubt it!

*update* After I stopped payment with my bank, someone from the company FINALLY reached out to me via text. TEXT! And asked for the Escrow Company's information so that they could start getting paid. Are you even serious? I can't believe the level of unprofessionalism I've experienced with this company. It's May. I sold this house in December.

I selected LA Solar because they showed me three proposals: SunPower high end, LG med level, and Suniva low end solar panel system. They presented the facts and answered all of my questions in a professional manner without any sale pressure, which I liked. The install was on time and excellent. No problems with my system after one year of service.

Great customer service. Installed on time and build quality was top notch. I have been happy with my system since the beginning and continue to be impressed by the diligence in the care and maintenance they have provided. Never leaving anything for me to clean up or complain about after they leave. Great follow through after install and always a pleasant experience. My roof has never given me any problems.
