Jackson Plumbing is celebrating 50 years of service in the Erie area. Stanly Jackson worked faithfully in the plumbing field for eight years, gaining the experience needed to pass his Master Plumber's exam in the city of Erie. Dedication pays off. Years later, his son Daniel Jackson joined the business, and the two worked together for a number of years before Stanley retired.
Daniel continued with the same quality plumbing services while specializing in remodel and repair. With the help of his sons, the company quickly grew and provided excellent plumbing work throughout the region. His son, Scott, took over the business in 2011.

Back Flow Preventer
Report
A back flow preventer is required on all commercial buildings and residential multi-family buildings with three or more units. Backflow can occur when the water pressure on one side of a water system drops. Naturally, it causes the other side to equalize, which then creates a problem if you building is connected to a public water source.

Something seems to be going on there within the last week especially. My wife and I had a terrible experience. It says "free estimates" - but those are only over the phone. They just don't tell you that. They incorrectly diagnosed the problem and then proceeded to charge for an hour of time when it was 26 minutes. Within the last 5 days they have had 3 negative reviews on Facebook. 2 from yesterday. EDIT: Your technician told us the hose attachment was leaking.
We had already bought a faucet to replace the current one as we just bought this house and were looking for a different color. The leak was discovered a few days after moving in. We wanted to make sure that the problem was coming from the faucet and nothing worse before we tried to replace it. The leak was actually coming from the cold water pipe.
The technician didn't get under the sink and look at all of the pipes; just saw that the hose was wet and immediately said that was the issue. We were never offered to replace the faucet during his visit. After diagnosing the condensate pump, we were told where to buy one and that it could be replaced by us. A heating professional was never brought up.
Your technician was professional and kind and helpful. But he is not the problem here. Lack of communication is. We were told a technician would be out to provide an estimate. We were not told there would be an hourly charge, that there would be a charge for diagnosing or at the end of the visit that we would even be receiving an invoice at all. And the technician arrived at 10:30 when our appointment was scheduled for 1:00.
With no call to see if this was alright. When we had been told during our original call that if a technician were to show up anytime not within an hour of our scheduled time, we would receive a call.

The professional who came in for a look was Seth. He immediately, after hearing what happened, diagnosed the problem and came up with a swift solution. Even pointed out cracks in the toilet that I hadn't noticed before. He worked very efficiently and within minutes had the old toilet out n the new one in. Very happy with him and very happy I went with Jackson!

Contacted Jackson Plumbing about having a toilet plumbed and installed in the basement of our home. We can't say enough about the fantastic job they have done. Both getting us a quote and getting it installed in a timely manner. We will definitely be using them again for any of our future needs. Very polite, honest, and trustworthy.

Our washer's waste pipe was overflowing. Called one plumber and they said they didn't work on row houses. I called Jackson's this morning, they happened to have time for me, and by 11:30 I had a working washer! Seth Jackson was professional, quickly accessed the problem and solved it. Highly recommend using Jackson's plumbing.

Contacted Jackson Plumbing as I wanted an "on demand" (tankless) water heater and water softener installed. Seth (Scott Jackson's son) was assigned the project as he had been trained on the specific water heater to be installed. Seth was prompt, kept me informed throughout the installation, and was the consummate professional. I couldn't be happier with his work. Currently, I'm working with Jackson Plumbing regarding a kitchen and Bath renovation and cannot wait to see the final product.
I cannot say enough good things about Jackson Plumbing. They're dependable, professional, and you know that when the work is completed, it is completed right and of the highest quality. Special kudos to the office staff who are always friendly and helpful.

They replaced a leaking gas line to the hot water heater in the house that I purchased, installed a gas shutoff valve, and and turned rerouted the previous owners handyman special waste pipe installation from intruding through the downstairs bathroom ceiling to an unobtrusive location in a closet. The work was professional, clean and fast. The price was very fair. I will call Jackson Plumbing first for my plumbing repairs.

We recently had Jackson Plumbing remodel the main bathroom in our house. The entire process from original bid to finished project was painless. The quality of work and materials is excellent. The crew that did the work consisted of Ryan and Josh. Both were extremely professional and polite. We have hired Jackson Plumbing for some other smaller projects in the past and based on our satisfaction in all of these situations I would not hesitate to hire them for any future work we might have done.

We had just recently moved into a new house when our water heater started leaking. I called Jackson Plumbing and Scott came right out. Scott and Camille the office manger were excellent! They have great expertise and excellent customer service. The two technicians that changed the water heater and added the expansion tank were professional and did a fantastic job!

Shortly after moving into our new house we found that we had to replace our entire sewer line. NIGHTMARE! Jackson Plumbing came highly recommended by several companies and I can see why! They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, they got a huge job done in only two days, were very professional and did not leave a mess! Not to mention their reasonable pricing and the free estimate.
