Williford Flooring

Our builder made a mistake and finished the wood stairs in our new home in the wrong color. The builder advised us against refinishing, saying that the outcome would not be good. He wanted to rip out the entire thing and start over. We opted to hire Williford instead. From the first meeting, their craftsman demonstrated excellent knowledge and pointed out many flaws in the original work.

They made sure to match our color requirements before doing any work. The did the work without any mess and finished the work on time. All in all, the refinish came out great and half the price of starting from scratch.

Sadly, one of my worst professional experiences ever. During the closing transaction on our home, the seller's son contracted Wilford to refinish the floors. Throughout the process they delayed the start numerous times, left emails unanswered and didn't return calls from us about time frames, as the flooring was one delay of closing. Upon closing, we noticed they hadn't fully sanded the floors to remove the old finish near the baseboards, leaving obvious final mismatches (In some areas as large as an 8 in gap from the molding). Furthermore, they sealed shut the only access to the crawl space beneath the house for access to our plumbing, HVAC and electric.

When we asked them to come and look at their work and to please rectify the situation, we were at first ignored, then finally received a curt response that their work met the contract. I have never worked with a company, small or large, with worse customer service. I had hoped that by virtue of being a small, local business, we could have worked to find an amicable solution, but they have had no interest in even meeting us in the middle. Terribly disappointing start, to a new life in our dream home.

If you need your floors updated with class you need to check this place out they will not leave you in any way unhappy with your flooring you become part of a very special family and will be treated very well they provide quality work and materials that will make your home your palace the transformation will blow your mind and it is affordable
