Duncan's Creative Kitchens actually got its start in 1962 as the kitchen department of Duncan Hardware, owned by J.C. Duncan, Sr. in Bedford, Indiana. J.C.'s son, Bill, spun-off the kitchen design business from his parents' hardware store as Duncan's Custom Kitchens. In 1984 he relocated to Florida.After working for other kitchen design firms for the first couple of years, Bill launched Duncan's Creative Kitchens in Bradenton in 1987. Bill's son, Scott, officially joined the family business in 1993, and quickly became the principle designer. He has actually been involved since the 2nd grade, when he accompanied his father to the jobsite to 'help' install his first kitchen.

We are only partially through our kitchen project, but I just could not wait to say how wonderful everything is going. We went from a 1960's kitchen to a new white shaker kitchen. not only are we delighted, with the customer service Scott provides, the workers are professional building artists! People always say that home renovations are challenging. With Duncan's Creative Kitchens, the experience was a breeze. We had two major renovations - a library and then a few years later, a kitchen. Scott listened carefully, made great suggestions, and made it happen. He has great attention to detail and he walked us through every step of the process. His entire team was professional and trustworthy. I will use Duncan's Creative Kitchens again and have recommended them to family and friends.

Scott remodeled our 1985 kitchen and came out and listened to our dreams. He measured, provided guidance, took us to see granite, plumbing, lighting, appliance vendors to complement the gorgeous cabinetry we had selected. Scott gave us a timeline, communicated on a daily basis with us and made us aware of any delays ( if any). We have subsequently had Scott remodel our Master Bath and Guest Baths. There is no one else I'd consider to do any updates to our home! You will not be disappointed!

I had an amazing experience with Scott Duncan and Duncan's Creative Kitchens. I was remodeling my condo, so I asked friends for recommendations. Scott's name and company came up several times. I went to see his showroom and discussed what I needed. Scott's kitchen plan was so much better than what I had thought of, and he did the bathroom cabinets and custom made the guest room dresser, nightstands and desk as well. He gave me a timeline for the project and stuck to it. The workmen were wonderful and the completed work is beautiful. I couldn't be happier!

Scott first designed my kitchen remodel which met all of the wants/needs on my wishlist! Quality materials, quality installation and Scott was available any time we had questions. A few years later he redid a remodel on our guest bath and then ultimately our master bath. Scott listens for what you need and offers great solutions and is respectful of the budget. Without a doubt, you need him to do your remodel! You won't regret it!

We bought a condominium and gutted it. At first I thought I would make the design decisions alone but soon realized it was not going to end well. I met with Scott and immediately saw that he had the design eye and expertise to help me, along with a pleasant demeanor that made it evident he would be very easy to work with.
