Sun Painting was recommended by two friends. We received an estimate and decided to hire them. They began with the exterior of our home. They moved everything off the patio, even took down my hanging baskets of flowers and the wind chimes. They finished in one day and did a great job, even putting everything back in place! The next day, they started on the interior and were finished after three days. They did a wonderful job! Everything was put back in place and an immaculate cleanup. I am very happy with the entire project and highly recommend them!

This company was fantastic. I had gotten three total bids to paint my living room, entry, and hallway walls, along with maybe 30% of my ceilings, and an exterior door. The quote from Sun Painting was less than HALF of one of the other bids, and still ~$1k less than the other. The price was so different I was actually a little worried! The two other bids said it was a two, maybe three day job as well.

I went with Sun Painting and they had it all done in a day. I honestly didn't think it was a day job. They didn't even have the paint until that morning, and they got everything done from 8:30 to 5:30. The three guys covered and protected everything really well, and worked extremely quick and their work looks great. While I have my house all painted now, I will definitely be mentioning this company to anybody I know looking for painters.

Sun Painting Texas was highly recommended to us for the painting of the trim on the exterior of our home. Our home actually looks brand new after the power washing, caulking, & then the painting of 2 coats of very high quality paint. We were very pleased with the workers, & how they answered all of our questions along the way. Very prompt, speedy, & high quality work! I very highly recommend this company for any of your painting needs.

I needed the exterior trim painted before I replaced the gutters after a new roof was placed. They were quick to respond and gave a written, reasonable estimate. I pointed out some areas of facia that needed to be replaced after treatment from obvious carpenter ant damage. Mark found two other areas of trim that needed to be replaced, including some damage (probably from my sprinkler system) underneath a bay window, which I would never have looked for.

The crew of Peavy and Valente showed up on time, purchased the materials, replaced, power washed and hand scraped the old peeling paint, then primed the wood and finished with two coats of paint. They worked hard in this Texas heat! Well done Sun Painting Texas! I had been waiting since 4/20/21 for another company (which I previously had used for the same exterior job), but they continued to push back my start date, due to the wet weather in May.

Then I think they forgot about me. I was referred to Sun Painting Texas by my son and wife, who had had their interior painted by Sun! My son and wife were very happy with their crew, and Teddi's help in the office!

This is Not the company you want in your painting. They do a half a job and then you have to wait forever for them to return. Customer service is horrible. I had to scrape the paint out of my bathtub after they finished. Paint sits rotate in and out so there is no consistency.

Incredible job! A++++++. Highly recommend! The room I asked Mark and the team to paint was raw, untreated wood and paneling. They did a phenomenal job priming and painting this huge room, with vaulted ceilings, and a loft. They also did an excellent job with the trim and railing accents. This team really went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with the job.

Can you believe this transformation? I will DEFINITELY use them again, as I renovate the rest of my house, and give the exterior a refresh as well. Call them NOW if you need painting done! INCREDIBLE results!

Our house has been painted several times in the past by a couple of the popular companies who have become too big and forgotten about quality and the customer. Sun Painting was the best paint job we have ever received! Brothers Jose and Jose were awesome. They did good, quality work and were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Sun Painting and I would use them again myself. Mark and his entire team, from the office staff to the crew, were very polite. The crew was prompt, professional and friendly. They got the job done in the amount of time discussed. They did an EXCELLENT job and cleaned up everything perfectly. Also, they honored their warranty, no questions asked.

There was an issue with the exterior front door paint. It had nothing to do with workmanship. The paint itself did not adhere properly. They matched the color perfectly with another brand and repainted the door. While here, he noticed a couple of cracks in other areas due to settling. He offered to touch those up as well without my even asking. I'm very happy with Sun Painting, their quality and price.

Mark, his carpenters & painters all did an outstanding job on our home. We have been remodeling for 7 years (while living in it) and needed someone else to take on this enormous final project we didn't have energy left for! Sun Painting Texas was up for the challenge of our 1950's home AND our extremely high expectations. Communication was clear, timeline was short & cost was affordable.

Let me start off by saying that we are beyond happy with the quality results and speed of completion Mark and the Sun Painting team delivered on our project. Ours was an interior painting project with a large amount of continuous common-area walls including 2-story walls in the entry way and living room, plus entry hall, dining room, kitchen, staircase, and 2nd-floor landing, living room, and hall.

We delayed this project a couple years after move-in just due to scope and expected cost. We spoke to Mark at Sun Painting on Sunday, he was out for an estimate on Monday, and they returned a great quote; they were scheduled to be here on Friday for what was quoted as a 2-day job, which we felt was very reasonable for this much space. Mark even stopped out midweek to drop off a couple paint samples from his own personal touch-up paint that he'd used in his home (one of which turned out to be the color we chose).

His team was here promptly on Friday morning. They taped off all the trim and covered the floors, stairs, and everything else that could be damaged. They got started while we worked from home. At end of day, we noticed they were cleaning up, and stepped out expecting to find the first floor done, with the rest to be completed Saturday. Instead, we were surprised to find the entire job complete and ready for inspection in just one day.

The job looks great, the clean-up was thorough and professional, and we are extremely happy with the value. We would highly recommend Mark and Sun Painting and already requested a quote for the exterior siding. Thanks!

We absolutely reccommend Sun painting! Mark and his team of painters, Jose and Jose (Hernan) are so wonderful! The office manager, Teddi, was also super communicative and helped us get on the schedule when it worked for us. WE LOVE THE END RESULT! The color was chosen by us, and then we gave it to the team and they found an exterior color that matched perfectly.

They came and power washed the brick, the sidewalk, the driveway, the front porch, our stone, the back patio, they really went above and beyond! They only had to do the brick and they did it ALL! Then the next day they began painting at 7 AM and they were done by 5 PM! Total transformation! We are in love! The customer service and attention to detail is what earns the five star rating, The painting was done so well, and the painters were so friendly and so talented.

I cannot recommend Sun Painting highly enough! Mark contacted me promptly and offered a quote that was very reasonable. We set a date and the crew arrived on time and worked a long day preparing my home for a much needed fresh paint job. They located and repaired some damage beautifully and returned the next day for a first coat. The following, third day, a second coat was done and they checked carefully for any touch-up needed.

I was and am amazed at the wonderful result in such an efficient short time. The neighbors are also impressed and likely will be seeing Mark soon about their homes. The crew were very nice and friendly to work with. I will never look further for painting needs in my home! Mary J.

From the estimate appointment to completion, this company has been top notch! What a pleasant experience to have a contractor that actually shows up when they say they will & finishes a day earlier than projected! They weren't the cheapest quote, but definitely competitive. I was impressed by the detailed quote that was emailed to me. Even after the job was done, I misunderstood something & Mark sent a crew back out to make sure I was satisfied.

They helped me fix an issue that was from the contractor before.wasn't even their problem, but they still fixed it for us! I can't say enough good about this. We're wrapping up an entire home remodel & of all the contractors that have been in our home the last 6 months, this has been one of the most pleasant to work with! I'd definitely recommend them!

After reading all the 5 star reviews on Angie's List, we requested an estimate to paint the interior and exterior of our new (old) home in East Dallas. Mark, responded promptly and provided a detailed written estimate. The painters were prompt and very professional. They floated the living room ceiling to remove old texture and applied new texture.

We could not be more satisfied with the results. They were neat and clean and took great pride in their work. The exterior soffit had over a dozen odd size vents that were caked in old paint. Sun painters removed all the vents, built up the existing openings and replaced with new standard vents. They fid a great job on the exterior. Mark followed up 3 weeks after the job to endure that were were completely satisfied. He also reminded me of the 5 year warranty. Web would definitely hire again and recommend Sun to friends and family.

Wonderful experience. Our crew was Ben McCoy and Mark Pevey. Could not have had a better experience. They had some difficulty removing the wallpaper and it set them behind 1 1/2 days. They worked on Saturday and late into the evenings to get the work completed. And the quality of the end result is just stunning.

They did a beautiful job! Nice crew; finished a big job quickly. Office staff and general manager were very nice to work with. I will definitely use them again!

The worst contractor experience: (Look at the photos and you be the judge) Sun Painting did not done the work they guaranteed is our contract as can be seen in the attached photos. They did not completely Pressure wash or scrap old paint from our house, they did not paint the windows, they did not replace the siding panels on the chimney chase, they did not Caulk joints and seams on home including windows to brick.

They did not follow the paint manufactures paint specifications for adequate paint dry times and coverage. They refused to complete the work, although after much debate and needless heartache they reluctantly admitted the job was incomplete. I remained extremely cordial in all the emails and conversations trying to get them to honor the contract but they outright refused to honor the contract.

As soon as I posted a review, with photos of what they did to our house here on Angie's List, Sun Painting Texas immediately called me asking me to take down the review. That's what it took to get them to call me back. One of the excuses I was given for the job not being complete was the weather was bad, yet as can be see here on Angie's List they have over 3 posting of outside paint jobs they completed since January 18th - over two and a half months.

Instead of doing a professional job, guaranteeing their work and completing the job as per our contract, they told Angie's List they'd give back half of the money they took from us. Money they should not have charged our credit card as they never completed the job per the contract - see attached photo of incomplete work. So we give Sun Painting Texas an F. Please, Look at the photos and you be the judge.

Painting contractor in Arlington who cares about his customers. I needed the inside of my house painted and I got several quotes before I chose Sun Painting. The pricing was a about the same across the board but the service I got was excellent.

Best painting company in Arlington. I had them paint my house about a year ago and they did a great job. So I hired them again to do my business offices. Again they did a fantastic job. I highly recommend Sun Painting.
