12 Stones Electric is owned and operated by master electrician Dan Hankner who lives in Davenport, Iowa with his amazing wife Megan and wonderful daughter Macy. I'd love to make some grand statement about how one day I looked out upon the Quad Cities, and how I beheld such reckless electrical work and customer oppression, but that would be as false as it would be ridiculous.Truth is, I started my apprenticeship straight out of high school. I served my 5 years and 10,000 hours OJT as an apprentice under some excellent electricians while I spent my nights in class. However, only a few months after I passed my test and became a licensed Journeyman, the company I was working for went bankrupt, and I found myself newly married and without a job.

While we specialize in residential, we work in many small business and even farms! We work mostly standard business hours Monday through Friday. Although we do have overtime rates for emergency or immediate service requests, we are flexible and will work with the customer's schedule to meet their specific needs. If you have any questions, our phone and email is always open.

Had a whole house rewired. They had great communication, cleaned up after the job, did exactly what they said they would and went above and beyond! Dan was recommended by a former customer. I called and he responded quickly. He came to give an estimate and I asked him to do the work. He arrived on time; he and his co-worker worked diligently to complete the work. They were professional and competent and left the work area tidy. I definitely recommend his company. Danny and his team work hard and are reasonable. This company is ran by an honest, Christian contractor who is professional and does amazing work. Next He is worth the wait so call him as soon as your thinking of a new project as he is pretty busy, because he is that good. Next he volunteers and works hard on his own time too! He just cleared and made new running, and biking trails by in NW Davenport dog park area for our community recently. Highly recommend

We had Dan come into our home to fix several problems were experiencing. He gave us a transparent quote up front and explained everything he would be doing and why. Dan even made suggestions and recommendations to improve upon our requests and saved us a bunch of money. Friendly, personable, professional, I can't recommend 12 Stones enough if you need electrical work done.
