Tommy Birdno is very reliable, meticulous with his work, and very hard-working. If something isn't right he makes sure that it is fixed before continuing with his work. Tommy is very honest and fair with his customers. He and his workers clean-up everything at the end of each day. The results of our floor tile is amazing. I would definitely hire him again. I contracted Tommy Birdno to tile a master shower and level a second-floor bathroom floor. His cost estimate was reasonable and honored. During the almost two weeks he worked on my project I noted that his attention to detail and presentation was far beyond my expectation. He took the time to explain every thing he was doing and make sure that my wife and I were satisfied with the approach.

In addition, he made several suggestions to change our end vision that turned out to be the spot-on right thing to do. Early on, I told him I wished to tile the floor and bathtub walls myself. From that point on, he gave me a great deal of instruction on how to mix the thin-set and grout, how to lay out the tiles, how to cut and place them, how to float the hardi-backer board and many other tips and tricks to make it look good. He basically taught me how to do his job. I highly recommend Tommy and I will call no one else from this point on if I need tile work done.

Simply put, Tommy isn't a tradesman, he's an artist. There's no one else I will trust with my tile or flooring. I did 1000sqft of vinyl, 1500sqft of tile, 2 showers, and a fireplace. All of them turned out beyond my expectations. Let's start with the bad: 1) He's a small operation, so you may need to wait a little while to get on the schedule 2) He's a small operation, so it may take a little longer 3) He's not the cheapest you're going to find, but is certainly reasonable. Here's what you get for your money: 1) As stated above Tommy runs a small operation.

That means you work directly with Tommy and he doesn't sub out. I felt zero hesitation leaving the house in his hands while I was away. 2) Exceptional knowledge base of materials and installation. He took the time to review each of my selections and discussed the pros and cons of each 3) His quotes were spot on and I never felt pressure for add ons 4) He started and finished on time every day.

He clearly communicated his working days and never flaked. 5) The quality and attention to detail in his work is simply brilliant. All of the other trades I've had over have commented on the quality of the work. I am extremely particular and there wasn't a single problem I needed him to fix on completion (I did notice possible problems over the course of the install, but they were all fixed by Tommy before I said anything). In summary, I would recommend Tommy without hesitation. I never thought I'd live in a house that looks this beautiful.

Tommy saved our home, truly. We had a slab leak and were assigned contractors through our insurance company. They abandoned the project 6 months after demolishing our floors. We were walking on damaged foundation subfloors for months. After firing them, we found Tommy locally. Tommy began with within a days of giving us an estimate and finished the project in less than week.

He not only repaired the damaged subfloor, he rebuilt it so that our house and tile would be leveled. The result speaks for itself. I love our gorgeous new kitchen and bathroom flooring! Tommy and Ken did an excellent job installing two different shapes of glazed Terra Cotta tile backsplash. They gave an accurate and reasonable quote, were extremely knowledgeable about the work, and cleaned up each day. We are very happy with the job and would definitely recommend! Tommy knows a lot about tile. He is very experienced and easy to work with. He tiled our shower with subway tile. The cement board was installed improperly and he was able to make it work. He cares about his work and will take the time to do things right for a reasonable price.

We had tile installed 8 or 9 months ago, and my husband and I realized that neither of us had left any feedback. We had selected Tommy due to feedback and his immediate response. His advice and his work were both excellent. He fit us into his schedule very quickly and ALWAYS responded to our calls/texts and ALWAYS appeared when he said he would. So now we know there is such a thing as a contractor that does what he promises.

His charges were very reasonable, and he even did more than we contracted for. Our new bathroom floor is perfect. I feel guilty that we did not leave this feedback when the work was finished.but this contractor definitely left a positive impression and it is never too late to say "thank you, job well done!"

Tommy and his partner tiled our daughters' bathroom recently. We were so happy with their work! The bathroom looks fantastic- super happy with the results! They were here every day until the work was done and did a great job. They cleaned up everything after work as well. We will be hiring Tommy for our other room tile needs as well. If you want quality workmanship you need Tommy. He showed up every day on time and ready to work. Each day he and Dave had a plan and set up accordingly. At the end of each day they cleaned up and stored their equipment and materials neatly and out of the way. This went on for 3 weeks. My tile floors look great now. This job was just under 600 sq. ft.

Tommy delivered great service and excellent work. Due to the shoddy workmanship of the builder, there were several areas that needed repairs in the bath area. Tommy takes pride in his work and so he meticulously made repairs and completed the job to my great satisfaction. He gave me a reasonable bid and was clear about what that covered. He advised me of the time frame to get the job and it was done when he said it would be. I will definitely be using his services and expertise again. Always professional, courteous, and friendly, I wish I could give him more stars.
