Used MCE to furnish and install wiring to a hot tub and swim spa including disconnects for both. They also furnished and installed a 20 amp circuit to the backyard from the main panel. From Cheyanne and Tracey, production coordinators, to Will, estimator, and Kenny and Conner who did the wiring, these people are a class act. Suggested some design changes that made total sense, kept me informed about what was going on, helped me navigate state inspection, and did excellent work. I've been dealing with contractors over the past 35 years. Would hire these people again without any hesitation!

Matt and his team did a fantastic jump especially responding to the unexpected conditions that they encountered as they dismantled the existing electrical system in our home. They resolved the issues promptly and worked with me to make sure the job got done in the original time that was it was planned for. For future projects I will look to MCE as a primary contractor for the efficiency, expertise, and value.

Critical: Quality These guys will talk their way out of the bottom of the Grand Canyon but can't even stand up to someone, they hide they lie they steal. They whine cheat and cry. I hear the excuses but us men say put up or shut up

I used MCE to update a recalled panel in my MIL's house. I'm also working with them now to rewire my kitchen. I always get at least 3 bids and they've been the fastest to respond/schedule, and their bids have been the cheapest by far. Really communicative within their company, with me as the customer, and with the county. I haven't hit any snags with them and they're now my go to electrical company.

We purchased a 10 year-old home that had an alarm system and electrical installed by MC Electric. We bought it from the original owners, who neglected to leave behind an operator's manual or the master code for the alarm system. One night, a few weeks after we'd moved in, the power went out and the alarm went off, waking everyone in our house (and probably everyone on the street).

It took us a while to figure out how to turn the noise off, but our fix was temporary -- opening any doors the next morning caused the system to go off again. We called MC Electric shortly thereafter, and they helped us troubleshoot it over the phone in less than 5 minutes, and mailed us an owner's manual. Not only did they help us fix the issue, but they also helped us reset the master code. A huge thank you to Bill and the team there.

We got a great estimate from MCE to replace an old unsafe panel with two new panels and small panel in basement and extending power to our shed. The work team was very efficient, friendly and courteous. My husband will talk the ear off of a wrong number, the workers continued to work while he talked on - I was worried they would charge I us extra for that!

They did excellent work at a very fair price. We will use them again for some troubleshooting other areas of our electrical, we bought the house a year ago - glad they are local!

The builder of our new-build home used Meridian and has referred us to them for fixing problems. They've been to our house multiple times for lights continuing to go out in the same general areas (LED lighting should last longer than I'll be alive), internet is impossible to get full potential because somewhere wiring is touching or close to one another or grounding - I don't even know but they continue to say it's just the way it is and give us a ton of new light bulbs while saying there is nothing wrong with wiring.

Well we just had another electrician confirm that it's lazy work that they must've been in a hurry and wired directly vs. breaker box because we can't even find a breaker that works on the lighting that is out. It's crazy for a new build to require another electrician to now have to get inside the wall, pull the breaker box out and repair their work. It is not cheap and we will be contacting L&I to get another inspection as this should not have been approved to begin with - shoddy work and they won't own up to it.

Excellent company. They stand behind their work. When it comes to the alarm systems, Bill Jackson is the man to go to.

RESIDENTIAL / ELECTRICAL - Generator Connection: I thought this experience was important to share here. I wanted to say "Thank You" to two trust worthy Electricians "Joe & Chris" for their outstanding job making the necessary connection required by the City Code for my generator this morning. From the time I spoke to staff at the Office and accommodating my request was exceptional. and the completion of this project was outstanding.

Because of my experience and promptness with MCE - I've recommended this company to my family, friends and colleagues. I am definitely using them again for any and all my electrical needs. Gave info to call for alarm system repair and possible upgrade. Said the person would contact me. Been 3 days so I called back and now they say they are not taking any new work. Great company not! Will never contact again.

I don't often take time to leave negative reviews for businesses, but I had to make an exception for MCE. Their conduct was completely unacceptable. They are the worst electrician I have dealt with in recent memory.

I had MCE install a Generac back-up generator for our home in 2012. If was a big purchase but worthwhile, especially during prolonged power outages during the winter. Every year, we had them service it to ensure solid operation - despite their high service costs ($350+ for an oil change.) Recently, the generator started having issues and wouldn't idle. MCE diagnosed that we didn't have enough gas pressure (water columns) to power the generator.

I had to have PSE install a larger pipe/meter for $6k. It turns out, it was an issue with the stepper motor and nothing to do with the gas pressure. Obviously, I was angry and felt like I wasted $$s. I emailed the president of MCE and expressed my displeasure - and didn't even hear back. Good bye MCE - I won't be sending any business your way.

MCE has helped us define the meaning of vendor partner. Most builders have subcontractors, Quadrant Homes and MCE have developed a true vendor partnership. They have grown with us, adopted our priorities and helped us to improve our processes in the pursuit of a quality outcome for our customer.

I wanted to drop you a note to thank MCE for work that you did in the past for Lynae and I on our own house, and importantly on the last three houses we are building. On each of the current houses, we have had excellent crews for rough in, low voltage, and trim out. All of the guys are clean, efficient, and effective.

I've used MCE on 2 new construction projects in Ollala and Gig Harbor and they did a great job on both - that passed County Inspection the first time. I don't get the negative reviews on Yelp! but I'll update this in a few weeks as I'm now using them on a MIL unit remodeling job rerouting the electrical for washer/dryer and stove hook ups.

My wife and I just wanted to take a minute to say Thank you to your excellent employees who did the electrical for our new addition. We have added a new upstairs media room and your team has been here a couple of times to work on it. They did all the line voltage work as well as running the audio/video cables for my entertainment system.

MCE were the builders contractor for my house. Went to paint and change out light and found this mess. Called and discussed the problem with Mark and he said that is safe and by code. Photos posted of damage on site.

I want to thank you for a great job. Rusty and his crew have gone above and beyond. I am a first time builder and fear making poor choices. Rusty helped me understand his plan of action and walked me through the decisions and choices required for my home. We are very pleased with the work done.

My parents were local builders and used MCE for all of their new construction homes for something like 20 years. I worked for my parents growing up, so I got to work with several of the MCE crews over the years. I recently purchased a home (in August) in need of a full rewire, MCE was the obvious choice. The home is full of knob & tube and a mix of other random wiring, so they rewired 100% of the house and added a bunch of extras (can lights, breakers, new panel, etc).

They worked very hard, were a pleasure to work with, and were very fair on pricing. They also helped me save money by talking me out of ideas that I had which were not necessary---I greatly respect companies that save me money. Regarding some of the past negative comments from other users: I personally did not have any difficulty getting in touch with MCE representatives.

They were extremely busy and informed me of that when I was getting on their schedule. The schedule was out about 5 weeks but they were able to bump me up a week. Home building has been extremely busy the past few years so contactors are busy and its tough to get the good ones. To say MCE doesn't work with homeowners is false, you may just need to wait your turn.

Put it this way, would you go to a restaurant that was empty on a Friday night? I wouldn't because the food is probably terrible. Same thing here, I wanted to get my house rewired sooner because my lease was up and I needed to move into the home quickly, but MCE was 5 weeks out. They were worth the wait and I would wait for them again.

NEVER use this company! Only want large contracts. Won't work with homeowners. Rude and unresponsive.

I have used MCE for electrical work at my home several times and have been pleased. They have always been professional and respectful while working in and around my home. They are a reputable company that I have had experience with both in the past through my Dad who was the owner of a construction company and used them to wire new homes and now as a homeowner myself needing electrical work done at my own residence.

I have personally used them to install additional outlets, install additional light fixtures, repair a malfunctioning light fixture, re-wire a transfer box for a generator, and to add a photocell to my outdoor lights. The technicians they send out have been knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend MCE.

Great company outstanding service did an entire remodel. All interior, exterior lights, audio/video as well as security system. Even a year later if you have a need they take care of it.
