I should have read Gerry Coleman's review. Exact same thing just happened to me. Friendly dispatcher, quoted me $60-95 over phone. My keys were sitting on the seat of a 2007 car. Tech came out, told me $46 then two minutes and two gallons later, my keys were out. The totally then came to $95? The most they charge for most difficult cars?!? I called to give feedback. No one to speak to really. Won't use next time. Update: Lilly called me back and mentioned they will refund a small portion due to the lack of communication. Works for me.

I was locked out of my home and in panic. I calles A star locksmith and they quickly came to my rescue! Not only was the technician very helpful, friendly and prompt, but also offered me a 15% discount since I was referred to them through yelp. I'm so glad I called them and will keep their number for future emergencies for sure!

Wonderful. I finally decided to upgrade to high security locks after a few break-ins in my area. I expected mediocre service and some slick talking tech who would try to over sell me. But much to my excitement, the prices were way cheaper than I expected and the technician was so friendly!

This was so easy and service was SO friendly and just plain simple. I didn't need all the fuss and scare tactics that I was receiving from the other companies I was calling. Arrived on time, was so polite and was so efficient. I would refer to anyone that called and will keep them in my phone in case I am locked out, etc. This team is great!

For my own personal security, I decided to have my locks re-keyed. I called Raphael and he was able to come to my home the same day. He presented options for re-keying versus replacing the old locks and the pricing for both were very reasonable. There were 5 locks to change out and he did it in less than an hour! Pretty impressive! Raphael puts you at ease and is very personable.

These guys are awesome We went out yesterday night to Flying Saucer and we lost our 2009 jeep liberty key. It was late at night and we called a few companies, but they said they couldn't make our type of key or those that could help could not arrive untill the next day. We panicked, but then we found A STAR LOCKSMITH to come to our rescue.

What a great company, I got locked out of my house and they answered quickly, gave me a fair quote on the phone, the technician arrived in 15! Minutes and opened the door without any damages! And charged exactly what I was told. Definitely recommended!

Excellent locksmith! My teenage daughter lost her only car key, so I called A Star. Very courteous and willing to work with my daughters school schedule. Ben was very prompt and professional. Rates are extremely reasonable too! I would highly recommend their service!

Ben was a little unfriendly at first. I expected intro as soon as he walked out. I didn't get one at first. He asked for money upfront which I was a little wary about, but he reminded me of his numerous Google reviews. I didn't get any deals like the other reviewers but he got the job done and rather quickly. I don't think it was cheap or a good deal, but he arrived in a timely manner, was professional and got the job done. Granted I did have a transponder key, so I expected to pay a little bit.

Overall he was cool. And efficient. But I will probably look elsewhere next time just because he didn't wow me with price or service. Honestly I'd rate a 3.5 or so but that's not an option.

It's hard to write a review on a company that never showed. Two stars is generous I guess. I called 15 minutes after the technician was supposed to have arrived and was told that he was in an accident and no one could be sent in his place. I'm sorry if he/she was hurt but a courtesy call would have been warranted. Very unprofessional and I would not use this company.

BEST LOCKSMITH SERVICES In Dallas area by far! I lost the keys for my storage unite, I was clueless of what to do! Searched on google near me and A STAR LOCKSMITH quickly answered, the dispatcher was very nice and surprisingly said the technician can arrive in around 15 minutes while other companies said at least an hour! Ben arrived and took off the lock in a matter of seconds! Also paid exactly what I was told on the phone They are awesome!.

Called a few companies, this one competitive rates and came out rarely quick. Ben was very nice and got the keys out of my car within minutes! Great service, would use them again!

Well they got my car open, but they over charged me. They quoted a price over the phone that beat everyone else so of course I went with them. However, when they got here it was 40 dollars more. They tried to say it was cause of the car I have, but everyone else said a flat rate. All he did was use 2 locksmith bladders and a pull bar, which is the exact same way you open any car. Wish I would have gone for a different locksmith.

Just bought a house and I needed all the locks replaced. Ben helped me out the same day and he did a fantastic job. He is fast and reliable. I will definitely use him again in case i will need a locksmith again.

Ben was very helpful and quick. Made my big mishap into a seamless transaction. From the time I called him and he finished getting me a new key for my Ford Edge was less than 1 hour. I had a great experience with A star lock smith! I lost my 97 mustang keys after a day at six flags, called A star locksmith and they quickly came up with a solution, gave me a copy of my key and it was all at a good price! Definitely would recommend this company.

It's hard to say what I should give them, on the one hand, I was quoted $25 service call and $22 per lock to rekey then was told, for three doors, it would be $270. Here I was thinking it should be $91 or so, maybe $120 if there were any complications, but no, the "labor was extra". On the other hand, they were out the same day and offered to be there in 30 minutes.

I had chosen this place because I knew Raphael from another number and thought he was the one that would come out. It was not him, so I don't know if it would have been different for him. The guy ended up doing just one lock and it was (plus the $6 for extra keys), just under $100. He arrived at 4:15/4:20 and was done, made the 5 keys and rekeyed, before 4:40. A little steep for 15 minutes of work, but they did come out when I asked and did a good job.

Had an ignition switch that was stuck "on". Raphael repaired it in 15 minutes. Responsive, friendly and personable, honest, efficient, reliable, very reasonable; suggests options to save money. Never again with the arrogant, rude, smokers at you know where. From here on, it's Raphael and A Star.

Rafael is the BEST! Within an hour of me calling him he showed up to replace my key. He reprogrammed my key and cut me TWO new ones in under 30 mins! Pricing was way more affordable than the dealership! Great customer service! If I could give him more than 5 stars I would!
