Because garage doors are so large, pressure from hurricane activity or high winds can cause garage doors to detach from their tracks or even collapse. If your door fails, then damaging, life-threatening winds can enter, blowing out doors, windows, walls and the roof. Couple this with exterior debris, such as signs, roofing materials and siding, and lives could be jeopardized.

Installer was great, but the office staff were not. On April 9th I agreed to the quote the sales rep gave me to replace two garage doors at a rental property. I was told by the sales rep that Angela (in the office) would call to get me scheduled. Three weeks later, on a Thursday afternoon, I get a call letting me know that the installer will be there the next morning at 8:30.
They hadn't discussed the scheduling with me, hadn't even bothered to call me for three weeks, but I had to drop everything on 18 hours' notice for them. The installer came on time and did a great job. I have no complaints with regards to him at all. After the install, I asked the office for an invoice. They said they would email it to me, but it never came.
A week later, I get a call from the office asking why I hadn't paid yet. I told them I needed an invoice. They assured me they would email it, so I gave them my credit card over the phone and paid what I owed in full. I still didn't get the invoice. I emailed again, was told the same thing again, and still never got it. My sales rep, every time i ask for the invoice, tells me he has no access to any of that info so must pass my request along to the office who, apparently, ignores it. Today, finally, my sales rep asked someone sitting somewhere near him if she could send me my invoice (I could hear her talking in the background).
Within a couple of minutes, the invoice was in my email inbox. This isn't my first time dealing with this company. They've installed doors for several of my rental properties as well as my home. This is, however, my worst experience with them. While the doors themselves and the installer were all great, this kind of poor performance from the office staff is enough to have me considering a new overhead door company. **EDITED TO ADD** Within minutes of this review going up, I received a call from Brittany.
She very professionally apologized for the service I'd received and assured me I would not receive the same quality of service again. Although this particular job left me very unhappy with the company, Brittany's efforts have made me willing to give them another shot.

The entire process from start to finish was FANTASTIC! I found them online and began chatting and someone kept in contact to get me scheduled. The technician came to my house at my request around 6:30am before I went to work. He even went an extra mile and called me when he could not get me to answer my doorbell! How cool is that? I would recommend them to anyone who wants professionalism at a great price! I receive one extra quote and they were in the range. Excellent customer service! Manda Nixon

I requested a quote online 2 days ago. Somebody called me yesterday, in which I missed the called. I called back 5 minutes later and a lady answered and said she didn't know who called me so she couldn't help me. She didn't get my name or anything. Noone followed up today so I'll be looking elsewhere I guess. In response to the owner: I just checked my voice mail and you're correct, Tracy did leave a message.
However I don't like the fact that you're insinuating that I'm lying about not being asked who I was when I called back. The lady literally said I don't know who may have called you and that was it. I don't care that much to where I would need to make anything up. Hell I would try to install the opener myself before i would lie on anyone. Don't call me I'm already looking elsewhere. Thank you.

Friendly staff, all around. a wealth of knowledge with the whole team! Went in to pick up some replacement springs for my garage door. Was helped quickly, professionally, and courteously. Thanks guys! **Update: after getting into some trouble with trying my door myself, I had to call the pros back to get me squared away. Fast, reliable, nicest team you'll ever deal with. Go to Overhead Door for all your needs!

Very unprofessional installer, that I actually heard mocking me while I was on the phone with an Overhead door operator. The 3 times they came out in the course of 2 months, they never called in advance to say when they would be arriving, even though I was told they would call. Twice they installed the wrong part, which caused the door to break. again. I would not recommend until they hire professional installers for their residential customers.

One word - Unacceptable. OK, maybe two - unacceptable and pathetic. Hired Josh at the Savannah Overhead Door location to install a 12' overhead door and a couple of steel entrance doors with locks and anti-theft guards at our warehouse. Job was started on June 14. We are still waiting for it to be completed as of this review (8-1-16). They came out Thursday (7-28-16) to work a few more hours in an attempt to finish.
Still haven't completed. Our accountant unknowingly paid the bill already. Called corporate customer care (yeah, right)(Linda) to try to expedite completion. She said she would speak with district manager and call me back. She did speak with him but did not call me back, however after I was very specific about needing her to call me back to let me know how this would get completed.
I called her back today, she said she spoke with the district manager. Linda wasn't very informative and really didn't seemed concerned that the job was completed yet, and that she would call the district manager again to see about getting someone out to our location to finish.? That should've been done with the first call to the DM. Beware.
