We worked with Mark Schmitt Jr. and team. We had them bury downspouts, repair circular paved driveway, install a wall around patio, install a flagstone walk way, and increase the size of our patio. We are so pleased with the results and the process was very smooth. Mark and the Schmitt's team worked incredibly hard and did an amazing job! Mark Jr. always kept in contact on the numerous decisions and choices that needed to be made. Brad gave us some wonderful recommendations that only made everything even more gorgeous.
They even came in under budget which is unheard of nowadays. This was an amazing experience and we can't thank Schmitts enough. We plan on using them for our landscape design in the future.

We highly recommend Schmitt's Landscape Co. We could not be more pleased with all the work they have done for us. Projects included drainage, evergreens to screen deck, sod, constructing stone retaining walls, and bushes and perennials for landscape bed. Mark (Jr) listened to all our concerns and came up with a plan to meet them. He did a wonderful job of timely communication throughout the process.

We worked with Mark Schmitt and team on our backyard throughout 2021. We had a lot of moving parts including burying downspouts, improving our foundation grade, removing an old brick patio and installing a new one, leveling a rocky mud pit, installing new sod and planting several trees. We are so pleased with the results and the process was very smooth. Schmitt's team worked incredibly hard during the hot august month and Mark kept in constant communication with me and the crew.
We had the added complexity of being in a townhome and working with the association and around neighboring units. This was a great investment for us and we now have a backyard that is beautiful, usable and safe for our kids.

We had a great experience with Schmitt's Landscaping. We recently moved into a home that had some grading issues around the house. Mark and the entire crew were wonderful. Mark was able to propose a solution that not only fixed the problem but also looked great aesthetically and added to the backyard. The masonry for the retaining wall and the back steps was very high quality work.
The rest of the work was done with the same precision and attention to detail. The entire crew was very professional. We definitely plan to use them again in the near future!

We hired Schmitt's landscaping to do a ton of work for us this summer and we couldn't be more pleased! Mark was incredibly responsive throughout the entire process (which is very important to my type A personality haha!) They do quality work and have a high attention to detail. I wanted a clean fresh look for the front of our home. Their landscape architect drew up a great plan.
See below for picture of one of the front beds. We also had them plant grass in the back yard and we consistently get compliments on how well the grass came in after just a few weeks. Very pleased and highly recommend!

This is the second time we had work done by Schmitt's Landscape Company (the first at a previous residence). As before, the work was done exceptionally well. Mark and his crew completely transformed our yard. They replaced an old asphalt patio with brand new brick pavers as well as new plantings around our fence line and new sod. To say it was an improvement is an understatement!
We have had neighbors stopping by since the work was done complimenting the new look. We are looking forward to doing more work in the future to really highlight the curb appeal of our house. Thanks so much for transforming our yard!

Overall the process went very well. They came out in a timely fashion to initially quote the work, and their price was very reasonable compared to other quotes I was getting. I was also given an option of installing a dry well but was told I may not even need that. I liked that they weren't trying to get me to do more work than necessary.

First, they took the time to understand the problem. The other contractors we contacted wanted us to install a sump pump, which would take care of the symptom, but not the problem. Brad explored every possible angle to find an appropriate solution, which he did. We have not had any water backup since the installation of the new drainage system. The workers on site were great.
