We won't leave a stone unturned and most importantly, we believe there are no bad ideas, just better ideas.Principal Ian Toner originally founded Toner Architects because of his passion for residential architecture and design. However, his varied experience in design, client relations, and project management have moved him beyond residential and into many other arenas such as hospitality, higher education, and retail.

I've worked with Ian and Toner Architects on a number of concepts and without a doubt, his firm being involved has taken mediocre projects and turned them into flawless ones. Their knowledge of materials, fixtures and building codes ensure everything goes smoothly in an environment that is typically fraught with speed-bumps and delays. My husband and I hired Toner Architects to design plans needed for a full renovation and obtaining city approval to combine two separate South Philly row homes into one. From our first meeting with Ian, we were confident that we were in the right hands and felt a sense of ease.
