This is mainly about how it seems businesses are putting customer service/human interaction as a bottom priority. I contacted Irish Painting for a quote on my place. I received a text 10 minutes before my appointment time that the gentleman was going to be 20-30 minutes late. An earlier notice would have prevented me from having to leave work as early.

After the preview of my place, I was told I would receive a quote via email. I finally received the quote 4 days later via text. In efforts to save money, I asked if the price could be lowered by having a few items removed from the job. Apparently, it was an all or nothing quote. I got a "Sorry. Thanks." at the end of the text. Irish Painting made no effort to negotiate. All communication was conducted via text and no care to develop a client relationship.
