Where do I start I had a really bad roof leak and was looking for someone reliable and fair Matt came out to give an estimate within 2 days. since a few other roofers were playing games and postponed me and did not speak good English I was surprised how professional and detailed he was and told me it will take a week to do Got it done within 3 days Super happy with their work and the crews Very polite and cleaned and picked up all the debris Would highly recommend them to friends and family These guys are super professional! Give them a shot they will not let you down and they have been around for many years!

GW Construction recently did an addition at our house that I am very pleased with. They remodeled both my bedroom and my bathroom! They reconstructed an amazing closet system that allowed for the ultimate use of my space. My bathroom now feels like a spa at a resort! I loved the suggestions that Matt made with me throughout the design process, he really incorporated my needs and offered great design choices overall. I had such a great experience as their customer, and will definitely recommend them to anyone looking to fulfill any remodeling or construction needs!

GW helped us build an additional dwelling unit in the backyard of my parents house. I can't afford to buy a new house on my own and this was a great alternative. Matt was very professional and took my ideas and preferences into account while we were working on the project. I'm so happy with the results, and even though I'm in my parents backyard it feels like I'm living in the house of my dreams. And that's all thanks to Matt and his team!

Matt was wonderful to work with from start to finish. Everything was explained until we understood what was happening with the process every step of the way. Our house and bathrooms exceeded our expectations. Matt was creative with design and actually saved us money. We couldn't be happier with our beautiful new home! I'd highly recommend Matt and his team.

Do yourself a favor and look for someone else. We did a major renovation with GW and I could write a whole book about that unfortunate experience and everything that was done wrong there, including some shady practices of conducting business, but I would sum it up and say it was not good, to put it mildly. Feel free to send me a private message if you really want all the gory details, but trust me - you don't want to go through what we went through on this project.

It might also be worth noting that the person listed as the owner of this company sold the company to new owners some time ago, so I am not sure all of the reviews reflect the current ownership. Matt (current owner) is a truly gifted sales person, but unfortunately, any resemblance between what he promises and what you will end up with, when the work is done, is entirely coincidental.

Matt was so great to help with some "honey-do" stuff around my house. He gave some great advice too. And bonus - mask, gloves - the works. I have many more projects for this responsive, respectful company!

We had a warranty with them for our patio from the previous owner of our house. No where on the contract did it say there was no carry over from owners. We had a verbal contract via email stating that they guaranteed their work for 5 years. When I reached out to to GW the person who I spoke with made me feel like he was doing me a favor but upholding the warranty.

I let him know that if there was any indication of them not upholding the warranty once the house changed owners we would have worked with the previous owner to have her fix it before we purchased the home as we were working very closely with her. The patio needed resealing from a job they had done previously. They came out and resealed it. After 2 months it is peeling again.

I wouldn't let them come back to fix it again because I am skeptical of their knowledge of the work. We had this same issue at our previous home and had trouble finding a reputable company that was capable of fixing the issue. They may be good at some jobs but for the patio I suggest using Magnesite or a specialized company just for the patio.

Matt and also Gary came by the same day on such a short notice. Didn't have to wait for days, as various other specialists never even obtained back to me. They contended the worm within the given time (8 days before to be accurate) My home is stunning! The kitchen.

My wife and I highly recommend GW construction and our experience was wonderful from start to finish. We got several bids to add a 350 sq ft master suite (bedroom, bathroom, walk-in closet) to our home in Bay Park. After meeting with several contractors, we decided to go with Matt from GW. He was extremely communicative throughout the entire project via text, phone calls, or in person. Gary, the owner, came by often to ensure the work was up to his high standards.

We passed every inspection the first time. The final product is absolutely fantastic, our house feels great, and we are very very happy to have gone with GW construction. The pictures do not do the work justice and we'd be happy to personally show anyone that would like a visual reference.

This review is long over due! Matt and Jody are awesome. My husband and I purchased a home in September 2018 and wanted to update practically the entire home. We found GW construction on Yelp, called during the week at about 7 PM, and Matt answered (which I was surprised as most contractors are off at 5 sharp or earlier). Matt was able to come out the next day to go over everything we wanted done- new HVAC, tile floors throughout the house, baseboards, stucco, painting inside and out, replace a window with a sliding glass door, and installation of toilets, sink fixtures, lighting fixtures, etc. Matt had Jody help as our project manager throughout the process. Jody was great!

She kept us up to date, worked with the crews, and sent us updated pictures. Matt and Jody were always available, weekends and nights. On many occasions Matt met us at the house at 8:30 PM at night to go over things. He took the time to answer all of our questions, and several times took the time to review the design changes we wanted to make, in person.

He understood that we work an 8-5, so many times made himself available to talk and meet after normal business hours. He never made us feel like we were inconveniencing him, and that says a lot about the type of person that Matt is. The remodel turned out great! We love our home and would say if anyone is looking to make renovations, want a great company that is reliable, available, has the best communication, and will get the job done right for you.then go with Matt at GW Construction! As soon as you meet Matt you will see how he truly cares about what you want and need. Thank you Matt and Jody! You both are awesome!

I was waiting till the last minute to see if it's too good to be true or it's the reality. IT IS DEFINITELY THE REALITY, Gw is one of the best companies I've worked with and this is not my first rodeo, I've done 7 different remodeling projects at my house. Gw did my Garrage conversion which was the most complicated project in my list, I kept it to the end since I couldn't find the right company for it.

They did outstanding, they turned my Garrage into my new amazing, huge master bedroom, I LOVE EVERYTHING IN IT! Thank you Matt and Gary, would recommend you to everyone, can't wait to do another project with you guys! (Kitchen is next ).

Fantastic team at GW Construction! We were a bit nervous selecting a new contractor after a terrible experience with our previous one, but Matt and Jody made us immediately comfortable from the time they stepped into our house, and listened to our requirements and our concerns. Their advice and experience was also very valuable to us when having to make decisions across different options.

Our project mostly consisted of windows replacement and expansion of our dining area with French Doors to a new patio, including built-in shelving and cabinets around the front window in our living room. We talked to them about a couple more projects as well, and Matt was very helpful when he broke down the quotes as we wanted to see them with the various build options we were considering.

All along the process the best part with them, besides being very easy to get along with, was full transparency and clear communication, which is not always common based on our past experiences. The candor was mutual, and they were sure to be addressing our concerns extremely promptly. I cannot say enough great things about the team who did the work, in particular Gonzalo who had great attention to detail and who made sure we were happy with the results.

Note that they also take very good care of the work areas and cleanliness is a priority. I will definitely recommend GW Construction to our friends and in our neighborhood. We have a couple more projects in mind which we already discussed with them, and I will not even think about selecting another contractor.

Matt was fantastic! He got a team out to retile my 1920's bathroom with marble tile very quickly. Everyone was polite and delivered exactly what I wanted. It came out beautifully!

I can't say enough about Matt and the folks at GW. We had a very sticky situation where code enforcement was called on us just a few weeks after moving into a new house. I'm not exaggerating when I say that Matt stepped in and saved the day. He walked us through what the process looked like moving forward and even went to the city with us.and didn't charge us!

There was no high pressure sales tactics or concern that this wasn't a big, high dollar job. We could have still gone with a different company even at that point, but I couldn't imagine finding someone more trustworthy and genuinely invested in us personally. With their deep knowledge of the inner workings of government planning and permitting, you know that the work is being done right and above board. If you're looking for someone you can trust to do high quality work, I'd highly, highly recommend GW.

Gary and Matt are marvelous! They are doing exactly what they promised and more! Since we have come to know them we have relaxed and are extremely happy with their work. They are doing more than what they were contracted to do and are proving that they are experts at their craft. We feel blessed that we know them and that they are doing our job. I had GW construction come over to give me a price for my back yard. Michael, the project manager was very knowledgeable and nice and we decided to go with them. I really love my back yard now, GW did a fantastic job, Michael did give us an amazing customer service and we are definitely will do more project with them in the future. Thank you GW

Hired this company to do some work on my new location that will be open soon Called them out on Monday and came out the next day due to them being out of town. After having a great person to communicate with, the job started a few days later. The quality of work was awesome, crew was professional and polite and the hardwood looks beautiful! I will definitely hire them for all my future stores and my own house Thanks GW Consturction

I couldn't be happier with the end results of my new bathtub shower, GW construction exceeded my expectations- This was the first time I've ever remodeled anything from my home, I was a bit nervous of the process but it was actually pretty fast! Thank you for your great work!

Review changed 9-2-16: The crew did do what was written on the contract, and did in fact do some jobs that were not in writing, such as capping a broken pipe near a gate they repaired. The reason for the four stars is because some promises that were given verbally, i.e., to have the construction debris removed, were not kept. I ended up having to haul a lot of old boards down the hill and then having to pay someone else to remove them and some other debris that was left behind.

It was my fault for not being more businesslike. After I made the final payment there was some equipment left behind, so I thought that workers would be back to finish the clean-up. Sometime later when I tried to reach GW/Noli construction through their website and by phone and did not get a response, I felt very stupid. I realize there was no one to blame but myself.

Since my original 3-star review I have received calls and visits from GW/Noli Construction personnel and have been told I would be reimbursed for the cost of having the construction debris hauled away; however, I explained that my purpose in writing a lower review was not to make anyone lose their job, but to let people who chose contractors based on Yelp reviews know they needed to exercise due diligence.

Be smarter than I was: Get everything in writing, don't make the final payment until everything is completed, and be sure to check identification and license information. I wish I had followed the advice at http://www.cslb.ca.gov/Consumers/Consumers.aspx and had done more research. Sigh. Too soon old, too late smart.

GW Construction is about as good as you can get! We needed major work done on our back yard deck, and the whole house painted. From the beginning, with Steve and Al, they got the paperwork started. And the master carpenter, Gary did a fantastic job on wood work on deck and back part of the house. Painters, JR and Fostes under the direction of John, did the whole project in 1 1/2 days. We are most happy with the work. GE and BA

I received a call from a young lady from GW Remodeling. She told my husband and I that they did all forms of construction. We were in the beginning process of looking for a contractor to replace our roof and also to repair and coat the exterior of our walls. We had wood rot damage also. We don't usually take marketing calls but she was very sweet and followed up with us.

Highly recomended on gwremodeling me and my wife are very satesfide and matt and his crew are great and the our new patio looks amazing
